So my story is, my wife says we need to start prepping and get "radios" to stay in contact with people for a SHTF scenario. Not having any FCC licenses, I start doing research and find this guy's channel (NotaRubicon). I'm studying for a TECHNICIANS class license and anxiously waiting for the GMRS license to drop to $35 (as of July 25, 2021, it's still $70 -- I'd rather keep the extra $35 instead of giving it to the government). Anyway, not only am I wanting to get Ham and GMRS radios, I now find myself shopping for Jeeps with kevlar bumpers. Randy, you're awesome dude. Good Choice! I almost bought them, but knew I couldn't install by myself. I went with the XRC flares, front and rear. You can stand on them. I weigh 175 lbs. I bounced off trees that would have cracked all stock plastic flares.

I'm looking at Smittybilt XRC Body Cladding (Black) - 76887. I have the Smittybilt Rock Rails pn 76634 already installed. Do you believe there is clearance to install the side armor as well? Thanks!

Hi NotaRubicon, Did you install the Smittybilt inner liner to go with the front Armor? I am thinking of getting them...my only set back would be my Rebel Bolt in brackets for the coil overs , I think I would have to cut extra metal off the inner fender to make them fit better due to those brackets. Think I'm going to try it anyway just asking if you also installed those inner fenders.?

We havnt installed any inner liners other than the stock plastic.. 😧

do you have problems with refueling looks like it covers part of the cap

sometimes if the fuel-pump has a large vapor-recovery hood it's a tight squeeze and it has to be positioned just right to go in, but other than that no problems.

the badge is held on with a thick double-sided sticky tape type adhesive.. whatever got left behind i was able to easily rub-off with a little acetone.

What front axle does the notarubicon have? I am assuming it has a dana 30?
