the reason you could see the mountain peak from so far away is because nvidium will always keep loaded chunks displayed, so your view distance was much higher than 250. I like using nvidium because if i go off adventuring i can always see my house

The link you posted in the description links you to Cloth Config yes but it is for forge while everything else is fabric. Cloth Config API does however have a curseforge page with a fabric version on there. Hope this helps anyone looking for a fix.

Make sure that you have downloaded the right versions of each mod that are compatible with eachother. It should show you the conflicts in the error message and you can download the respective supported modpack. Hope this helps..

I went searching specifically for FORGE mods to improve render distance and your video was the first one that came up in the list. A fabric exclusive video. @@jessekiiskinen5786 you have to open it the document and change the coded render distence from 32 to what ever too want it to be. For example, you replace it with like 200 so ur able to set it to max 200 etc. After that I was able to just change it in the game (the bobby client document)

it sadly works like this: it will render around you at max 32 (because of the max 32 on simulation render distance) but if you move that it needs to render more chunks, then it will generate more AND remember more so it will work just how we want.

the sodium mod itself will improve performance to crazy levels. i would recommend getting the modrinth modloader, then get the modpack addictive. that will give you amazing performance and should work with lower end pcs. have fun gaming!

@@fane95lck Maybe you figured it out, but I checked the download of Cloth Config and it was for forge. The link goes to the forge version. On the Modrinth website you can search the Cloth Config mod and make sure it is for fabric rather than forge.
