The only thing you’re missing (if you haven’t already done it) is an ECU flash. I ended up buying the 2017 fz-10 you rode in your review video which was a funny coincidence because that’s the video that convinced me to get the fz-10. It was a pretty good bike, but the ECU flash turned it into the best bike I’d ever ridden. Evened out some of the low end choppiness and gave it about 14 more HP according to the dyno. Highly recommend an ECU flash. Question for you: which levers did you originally want to buy? I’m in the market for some new ones now.

SO COOL you are keeping the mt10 (at least for now?). I bought a new gen '21 mt09 in late '21. Like it but feel there are some budget pieces that had to go. Then I ran across a spotless 1kmi '18 mt10 at the end of this summer. The big mt has my heart......even with the 25-30mpg when ridden "spirited"🤣.

You need up and down quickshifter, it transforms your riding experience and radial master cylinder.

Chase, two questions. Is the lithium battery worth the upgrade? I know usually its a 'weight saver' mod but does it do anything else like help the bike crank over a little faster? Also what's the reason for dropping the camera system? You made a whole video on it and were excited about them but you seem fed up with them now. Possibly a follow up video/long term review might be in order for it? Loving the dad mode MT. Perfect balance of functionality and hooligan mode with arguably the best sounding engine on the market!

Never ended up using the camera system and it also killed my battery so I'm not the biggest fan. Thats one of the reasons for the new battery. While I was upgrading I figured we could drop some weight with a lithium.

Next mod should be flush turn signals from TST Industries. Colored running lights as an option. Replaced my pods on my R7 with Blue running lights.

mixed feeling on flush signals...I kinda want traffic to actually understand which signal is flashing left or right ....if they are so close together and there is some speed and distractions involved? That is the one good thing about the dorky stock signals they are well spaced apart and bright.

Save yourself some headache and get an S1000XR instaed of this if you're in the market. Same price used, XR is a superior bike, in handling, brakes, suspension, electronics, not even comparable. Way faster off the line too because it's actually got a decent quickshifter not.... whatever the MT10 Has...
