I remember when we were really young my mom not had to defend us once but twice. First, I remember my mom had come home from the grocery store she left the front door unlocked because she was taking down groceries all of a sudden there is a man in our house. I remember he was all dressed in black..wearing a trench coat. She told my siblings and I to hide behinde the couch or under the table. She then got a broom that was in the kitchen and started smacking him, poking him, hitting him, and yelling to get out. She backed him up against the door. A neighbor herd the yelling and came in running through our pouch door and started hitting him as well with a mop. They ran straight into police 🚔. The next time I remember was when my brother was ridding his tricycle in the front yard. The next door boy, started crying saying he wanted a turn. My brother was 5. I was 4. Well the boys mother. Told my brother to give his son a turn. My brother said no, my sister is next. She then insulted my brother, hit him. Pulled him off the tricycle and took it to her house. She was our next door neighbor. My brother was in tears on the floor. I ran in screaming telling my mom. My mom went to the woman's house, pounded on the door, one of her kids opened the door. She asked for the tricycle back, and the woman said her son had to learn to share. My mom then said, your husband should learn how to stay off the bottle and keep a job to buy your own kids their own tricycle. My mom then, saw it and grabbed it. The woman screamed and my mom, slapped her and said, "pick on someone your own size." They began fighting. She said she was going to sue her for stealing and assault. My mom said, go ahead. "We have the receipt and you hit my son." We were so proud of my mom.

@@skefsongames I’d say they did. I don’t know any dog that’s bit a kid that hasn’t been put down
@TheLalacream2 жыл бұрын
@@arielcrass2342(sorry in advance for the long comment) My right hand was bit by a dog when I was eleven (I still have the scars), and it wasn't put down. My younger sister and I were waiting in the backyard of a girl that I had just met that day, as my best friend was inside helping her pack up for the sleep over. (She was a mutual of my best friend at the time, and we had come over to invite her to my sleep over since she lived just a block away). It was getting quite dark (it was summer, but they had trees surrounding the yard) as we waited and I had gotten off the trampoline to pet her family's dog. He was a very friendly dog, but was also very protective of his family. So with the yard being dark, and having just met me that evening, I must have looked like a threat to him. Because when I reached out my hand to pet him, he just clamped down hard. Once I screamed, he let go immediately, and ran into the house. The girl's parents checked on me immediately due to the commotion of both my sister and I panicking. My mom was contacted and they were very kind and apologetic as they cared for my bite wounds, until my mom got there to drive me to the hospital. My hand was in a ton of pain, but I had already forgiven the dog because I was self-aware enough to understand why I was bitten (and the owners said that this was the first time their dog bit someone). I expressed that I didn't want their dog to be punished when I was being cared for. I had spent the rest of the summer with my hand bandaged. But that didn't stop me from becoming friends with that family, and going over to swim in their kiddie pool (we used plastic bags to protect the bandaging). And while I do get anxious around dogs still (especially energetic/rowdy ones), I lighten up when I see one, and I have since learned to instinctively approach dogs properly. Calmly approach and hold the back of my hand out with a little distance away, wait for them approach to sniff my hand, and only pet if they shows signs of approval.
