what we have learned in the last 5 days , is that Primoz Roglic will never win a Tour de France. Its unfortunate , because if it wasn't for some poor luck a few years ago he probably would have one at least one Tour ... but its pretty obvious now that he has lost whatever edge he once had over the rest of the Peloton and his Bora team with a team time trial in the Tour will be the ultimate nail in his coffin.

He's 5 race days into his season with one finish that's been up his wheelhouse so far. Wasn't like he was terrible on his first test of the season. Lost 2 seconds to Remco. But time will tell. But you are right because no one it touching Jonas in the high mountains.

Chris I agree with your take but I don’t understand Remco complaining about UAE and Bora’s tactics post stage. I hope Remco’s loses the whinny attitude. I used to think it was related to his young age but now thinking it’s part of his makeup. Too talented to blame others. If you want to be a Boss then ride like a Boss. See Wout, Matheu, and Tadej.

9:50 the rain by itself didn’t but the wind had turned to and if you look at the time splits from T1 to the Finish all teams who had the rain were significantly slower then the “dry” teams, even TUDOR and Wanty (not really know for their TTT) were faster or almost as fast as TTT specialists like Visma and Quickstep. Would Quickstep have won? Probably not but it would be a lot more close. So sorry Chris but you’re just wrong with that take.

1:10.. for Roglic. It's weird not to see his name on the top 3. And his team didn't really help either. 3 guys not even on 1/2 point of TTT? Yeah, he is no Pogacar or Jonas.. so it's gonna be hard to win PN. Especially weekend mountain is rumored might not happen due to weather. He didn't look that impressive today. It's either he was out-positioned or he was just playing possum or that was what his form. Maybe chasing stage win?
