My 3 rules of shoe buying, I never break them 1. buy what you "personally" like- don't let hype drive your purchases because just because its popular doesn't mean its your style. 2. buy what you can afford- don't go broke on shoes that can be ruined with one scuff or stain. 3. buy what you will actually wear. - Shoes have about a 10+ year lifespan. The more you wear them, the longer they last. If you don't see yourself wearing them over other shoes in your collection then they're a waste of money. Example: I have military black 4's so I didn't buy the white thunder 4's because I would never grab those before the military blacks.
