I wish there were an indication, throughout these videos, that would let us know when an image is a real one and when it's an artistic representation. I wondered the whole time which images were actually Jupiter and it's not always easy to tell, especially with that planet, because they all look unreal. It would be nice if you wrote "real" or "artistic" below each image, or if you added timestamps for the real images in the description.

"this is such cool information" but you don't want to know what's real or not about what you see? Do you know how many videos of this kind there are on the internet? Not everyone is here for the information alone. I knew more than half of what he said already, what I'm interested in is the real pictures. I explicitly searched for "real images of Jupiter" and ended up here. In fact, the title says: "REAL IMAGES FROM JUPITER", and you're not interested in knowing which images are actually real images from/of Jupiter?? That's absurd. If Jupiter has no solid surface, then how did those asteroids cause such violent explosions when they hit Jupiter a few years ago? Not trying to be argumentative, but rather just very curious because the information is conflicting.
@netherlent9563Ай бұрын
Gravity?😅
@SurajSharmaFourKnobКүн бұрын
I think anything hitting anything with enough velocity can cause huge releases of energy. Imagine an asteroid hitting a body of water, or two particles colliding at near the speed of light. These things cause huge amounts of energy to be released. So my understanding is that if the Jovian atmosphere is thick enough and something is travelling fast enough it will probably cause some kind of violent release of energy, either by exploding or burning up. Also deeper into the atmosphere the pressure is so high that some gases turn to liquid and who is to say what else is down there. I might be wrong though but that is what I think.

It's believed the jupiter is in more uniformed state than its look from the outside. Its extremely violent atmospheric shield can shred any object falling in its lower orbits, per instsnce, it shredded the Shoemaker-Levy 9 comet into pieces back in 1994. The comet was consumed in piecemeal by the giant planet, and it has left no trace of such dramatic event in today. It would take jupiter few more billion years to be in solid state.
