Dom, I am 57 and in my lifetime I have never seen a better interviewer/moderator than you. Your enthusiasm is infectious, your respect for your interviewees all while providing direction and flow is the best. But an even more pronounced quality you bring is perspective. Your mention of the climate in the country after JFK - VERY astute observation that no one else has ever mentioned! Also, the chicken being born pregnant! I'm using that. Lastly, the legends on this panel are awesome, and they have you to thank because I am buying each of their books. All the best Dom. Thanks.

Steve Lukather joke about Lee Sklar's lips was pretty funny! Dom, you keep getting better at this, you Sir have a special skill as a communicator. Thanks. I've kept up with Lee as he would post quite a bit on KZbin. Chick Corea (another contributor the the sessions) has also been very active on youtube. I really have enjoyed these beautiful vignettes, so thanks Lee! You've been very generous. I'm sure other artists have done this as well. This was a great idea! Jim Keltner, I play drums as well. I've always loved your sound on drums. But who hasn't! You blokes cheer up!!!!

We need more songs like Steve Lukather's Run to Me. We need to bring back Beatles style music and the music of the 50's, 60's and 70's. Those were a time when music ment something and made you smile. No more music and songs that sound angry and make a person want to hurt people. No more music that degrade people.

LOVE YOU GUYS!! Thanks for sharing this conversation! I chose drums because of Billy Joel’s Glass Houses album - so many different rhythms and dynamics in that record, and the “drumkit falling down stairs” sound of “Close to the Borderline” had me hooked! Toto songs have been in constant rotation in my car for months now and I enjoy them more every time they repeat. And it’s impossible to count how many times I’ve found out (eventually) that either Lee Sklar or Jim Keltner played on recordings that just knocked me out. It’s almost like, “well this is good, so it must be these guys!” What a great vibe in this discussion as well as in all your music. Thanks again.

"We must recreate the music industry"! What a quote. That is what 'Distrubed' is saying in their video of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Sound of Silence'. Musicians and music are being destroyed by a music industry that no longer cares about the art, only the money. The message and creativity is losing out to the certainty of a not taking a risk.

Superb panel, Thanks Dom! I soaked all of it up right to the end and enjoyed the stories and perspective. We're all in such uncharted territory and it was great to hear these good people say the same thing and discuss how they're dealing with it. It's surprisingly the same as what those of us in Nashville are doing - finding ways to stay active and sharing the love. Beatles side story: in my first band, our keyboard player and drummer (both age 11) got to see them at Met Stadium in Minneapolis. I was so jealous!

Thanks for bringing this greatness to us, Dom. Gents, you're all amazing in your own right. When Liberty brought up No Reply, I remembered the first time I heard Ringo hitting his kick and crash cymbal together on the 3-and of "I nearly died" and "no reply". That sound was and still is absolutely amazing. My favorite song by The Beatles for a long time after hearing it.

The Beatles walked on the Ed Sulivan show today if there was one and it would not even be close. You would have to be crazy crazy good. There are so many things going on in 2020. Iphone, Ipads, TV, Xbox, Playstation, Android, ect ect ect. Back then people were lucky to have a TV. So it was hey here are the Beattles lets watch them cause, uh thats all we got. LOL.
