That power line hits hard after this stream. Tommy used Dream’s horse to get leverage over him, but won’t face the consequences. He hates being looked down on, and he doesn’t hold back for anyone. He says he only wants his discs, contradicting his statement here. So, what does Tommy want? Would he sacrifice himself for the good of the nation? Would he give up his discs for his best friend Tubbo? Would he finally step in line to protect his country that he worked so hard for? After this stream, I’d say no. But he accepted the position as Vice President. He might be the protagonist, but is he the hero? I guess we’ll have to see...

Techno points out on his stream after the festival that Theseus was a piece of shit but that wasn't the point. Theseus is still considered a greek "hero" and is the founding hero of Athens, he even points out in his stream after the festival the parallels between Tommy and Theseus, in terms of what Techno mentions obviously Theseus and Tommy aren't even close to being similar as people at all. Even now the speech still holds true, Tommy could be exiled just like Theseus though for different reasons. If you go by with what Techno mentions in the speech it works but if you decide to look at the other aspects of Theseus then it doesn't.
