Listening to his stories with his dad made me think about the "one step further" on that. Like learning how to at least try to avoid making those communication errors with others, especially kids. Because I think so much pain, trauma and resulting problems, even hate can be maybe not totally avoided, but reduced, if one not only changes the perspective of the past but also changing how to communicate with the next generation. There must be experts on that topic, no?

Thanks Shawn, excellent show as always. Would it be possible to add a link to the adds/sponsors discuss in your shows? Most of the time, I lesson to your podcast while driving & make a mental note to go back & find those adds that are relevant to me. That would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! Thank you for the love! With the show sponsors, they’re always in the show notes with the audio podcast. They’re there with easy access on Apple, Spotify, etc :). We rarely have them on the video episodes right now.

Sigh... as someone with c-ptsd from my childhood, including body dysmorphia that I learned to mostly ignore (but was debilitating as a teen and 20something, to where I wouldn't leave the house some days because I felt too ugly), my 8 yr old girl-self understand how that 8 yr old boy could have those thoughts, sigh. Big hugs to our child selves. I can say with certainty, that you are absolutely gorgeous man. (Not that looks matter, but still warrants being said...cause it's true. ❤️🩹)
