Been listening to this rendition for a year. Thanks guys for turning me on to it. Tom's passing has opened up my aperture to the total of his extensive library. I wish I would have learned this while he was still here :(

Heard this song on Tom Petty Radio SiriusXM, freak, I had to play it again, love this version, much better than Mudcrutch. I had a had a little difficulty looking for it because I thought it read The Searchers, I even reached out to their associates and they replied back with a long comment, so now I need to write back and explain. So glad I found you guys and hope you get that album out.

I LOVE THE SHELTERS ON FACEBOOK, AND THE SHELTERS NAME IS NOT FROM SHELTER RECORDS, A LOT OF MUSIC AND MUSCIANS CAME FROM OR TO OKLAHOMA. I SAW THE LAST MUDCRUTCH CONCERT, WITH THE SHELTERS OPENING FOR THEM IN SAN DIEGO. HI JANET!

Nice job! Tom Petty would love this version, as likely do all the guys in Mudcrutch. I recently started following your band because of the Petty link. You just answered the question of whether "The Shelters" name came from the Shelter Records studio name. Yup...
