I think Jordy helped me out with some info for my Bandit 1250 powered race car, cool to see his car on the show. As for an LSD diff, in formula SAE we used a torsen style centre diff from an audi, we machined an adaptor that connected to the sprocket and the driveshaft passed through the middle, it was a very unconventional contraption

I like my Nissans, and I love my nuggets. The bike engine swap is just gratuitous overkill, which is likely the best kind of overkill you can do in any car! Love to see this sort of build, and that engine sounds (and goes) so much better than the original CR13 ever could :D

Nuggets are awesome Unusual choice of motor for a bike engine swap, but very well done
@jordanbycroft94345 ай бұрын
It came down to cost and practicality. I wasn’t sure I’d actually follow through with it in the beginning, so a complete bike for $1500 meant I didnt have much to lose. It’s also a really torquey engine, which gives good road manners. If I do it again I’ll go with the tried and true Hayabusa.

That Micra looks like a blast to drive. It would be interesting to use a B-series engined Civic VTI or Type-R gearbox with the LSD . Chunk chopped from the bellhousing to allow it to snuggle up against the back of the bike engine where the swingarm normally lives . A 15/30 sprocket set with the 30T mounted on the civic clutch center and a support bearing mounted on a plate bolted to the remainder of the bellhousing. This would give a possible 30 forwards and 6 reverse gears 😂
