You could make a cheaper version. Using Matt's Focus as a camera car. Like you used to do with the Raptor and the Fiesta!
@zackklapman35696 жыл бұрын
The camera car isn't the cost (and a $50k Focus isn't cheap). The cost is paying camera man to film it, and an editor to edit it. We used to get paid $250 for a 16 hour day, and then it took 3-5 days to edit. Based on the rev share of One Takes, we could pay half a camera man and not have any money for gas, food, editing, hosting, etc.

The 2014/15 Z28 had DSSV shocks correct? Am I understanding correctly that the ZL1 cars like the 2019 models got the magnetic ride control (MRC) but 2019 ZL1 1LE cars got the DSSV shocks like the Z28? Seems the DSSV shocks that are not electrically controlled like MRC shocks are got put on the better handling package(1LE). All I found on Z28 spring rates was they are about 20% percent stiffer than standard springs. Seems pretty hard to improve on Z28 suspension and brake package since gm seems to have done their home work.

just fyi, the grabby brakes is all pad... where the caliper comes in is when brakes are nice and hot (track hot, not canyon hot) you still get consistent pedal feel, where as sliding calipers will start to flex and your pedal gets a bit softer even if you're still perfectly within temp range of your pads and fluid
@danielgoodman93636 жыл бұрын
Bob Last not just pad, but if the upgraded calipers have larger diameter pistons, the pedal distance required to apply the same amount of brake will decrease. In some cases this can actually be a negative because you have less ability to modulate properly. Brakes systems are so often overlooked, and everyone thinks you just go as big as you can. They work as a system, not as a bunch of parts thrown together.
@boblast55826 жыл бұрын

Man, that sound!!! Puts every mustang to shame. Only mustang that comes close to the sound of a GM high revving motor like this is 13/14 gt500 full exhaust but this even has that beat. This camaro, being NA, is fabulous sounding. Like the C6R race car on track. 500whp is plenty. As stated, getting too crazy in quest for power can easily get out of hand...leaving you with a car you can't drive on streets as it will just spin and drives like shit. Full bolt on NA in GM NA LS3 for LSX 427 is perfect street motors Good job on not doing the typical "race pads" on street that squeal like a raped pig and don't stop for shit for first 20 minutes of driving.
