Block: inventor of the hoonigan and mainstreaming gymkhana =Snowmobile accident. Pastrana: Freestyle MX legend and nitro circus nutter, recently jumped off a building and bounced off the ground after a failed chute but still didn't die (he is 74% titanium at this point).... probably going to trip on a crack in the pavement or something. Seriously it's like "final destination" or something, Please Travis if someone offers to fly you in a heli.... to visit a snow covered log cabin... to ride ATV's... just say no. I'll just throw out there Paul Walker and James Dean were both car enthusiast hollywood actors that died in porsches, Rik Mayall on a quadbike and several others came close (Ozzy). I grew up in northern Maine and we would get a lot of snowmobile tourists who would come up and enjoy the trails. But sadly, practically every year someone from out of state would die because of excess speed. Snowmobiles _can_ be extremely dangerous. Slow down and use caution folks!

@@mapko15 he’s 100% correct. I bet the number of car enthusiasts of this generation that know of Ken is higher than those who know about Schumacher. Especially in the US. I’m 27, very implanted in modern car culture, and know so much more about Ken than Schumacher. Only that he was a very successful F1 drivers and has passed away. Couldn’t tell you how he impacted car culture or enthusiasts in his generation or this one besides via standing on a podium. Not saying he didn’t but this generation isn’t super aware of him.

One suggestion Matt- if your guest is generally someone who you know is uncomfortable with cursing perhaps it’s worth refraining from swearing every 30 secs. We all know Ed is a cool dude but he’s also a conservative Christian- which doesn’t mean anything in the context of a car show admittedly but it pays to make your guest more comfortable. Just my 2 cents

OEM+ is fine for mods after a certain period of time because often the original parts can be flawed which the aftermarket addresses. Example, all the OEM plastic bits that crumble and fail after time (I'm looking at you BMW), the garbage brakes from older gen cars, worn out bushings can be upgraded with no added harshness, even proper coil-over suspension can be huge upgrade over the stock design (see Focus RS). All these I would value over an "original spec."
