Bought the 525LS this week, used it the first time and WOW…nicest trimmer I have ever used, very low vibration and nice engine power. Just a great experience. I bought it off your recommendation, thanks!

I got the 522L yesterday from a local hardware store in my town. They lowered the price down to what the Husqvarna site had it listed for. It is by far the best trimmer I have ever owned. It idles smooth, but really screams when you need it to. At $255 I am totally satisfied. I can also see that I am not the only one who likes these weed eaters. Must have a good rep.

Buy you some 2" metal foil tape (used for HVAC) and use a short piece to cover those housing slots added over the muffler. If the engineers didn't really need those new slots, you'll never miss them.

Between the 525LST II, 525 LS II, and a 525LK, do you have a preference? Is the torque head worth the extra money? Is the Mark II still a lot heavier even if there's no gas in it?

I have a 525LS and love it. Is the 525L at Lowes truly the same machine accept for the guard under the engine? I get 20% off at lowes so a 525L would be $280 out the door I just don't want to regret it.

525L has a diferent engine than the ls and lst. Same engine from the 223l
@justinking4394 Жыл бұрын
All 525 models are the same engine the L,LS & LST but they are geared different.
@benaiahreid3291 Жыл бұрын
@Justin King I dont think they're geared differently. Pretty sure the bevel gearheads are the same. Husqvarna lists significantly different hp ratings between the L and the LS. Gearing is irrelevant because it's rated as hp at a particular RPM. Not sure if it's a typo on husky website or not.
@justinking4394 Жыл бұрын
They all 3 have 1.55 cu. inch engines. Look at the difference in transmission on site.
@justinking4394 Жыл бұрын
@@benaiahreid3291 you are correct on the LS, and LST having slightly more hp. The engines might be slightly different somehow but they are the exact same size.

My biggest complaint with the regular models was that spout on the gas tank I never could time it just right to keep it from overflowing once it gets to that neck it fills up so quick it just overflows and using a sure can makes it that much more difficult. I'm still not even put gas in my mark 2 and I'm not going to no need to this year it's hung up waiting for next year

lol ive never burnt my elbow usin a weedeater of any brand ya just gotta know how to hold it those vents over the muffler is actually a good thing it expels more heat away from the machine and helps keep it from overheatin so much so dont get so wound up about it i sometimes have to one hand places even then i dont get burned what ya gotta do when ya one hand it when ya lock your arm keep it moved over to the left towards the air filter slightly that way you'll avoid gettin burned as for string try their trim force in the square variety cuts damn good but the durability kinda sucks due to the string bein soft if they hardened it up just a bit it would be alot better i wanna get the new version of the 535LS it seems to be half again less weight than the old version we both have i think i could get used to runnin one of those on my big jobs i have

Well again you don't hold yours the same way. And I said blows hot air.also the old models did burn many people. Not a good thing to my elbow and face though. Mine still hasn't roke down in 7 years from over heating. So try again on that.

Yeah I have converse with you before on KZbin you know I have a 128 LD , or hopefully not had a 128 LD it got to where it wouldn't idle it ran great it just wouldn't idle so the carburetor adjustment wouldn't fix the idle and the throttle screw adjustment would not fix the idle so I put a new carburetor on it and it would start but not run and the more I try to start it the less it would run so I took it to my guy and the guy said the Piston it's completely scored and the ring is shot and I thought hell it's only 2 years old if this is what I get from Husqvarna even for a residential model and I don't know if I want to go with Husqvarna anymore and I hate sthil, I wouldn't buy a sthil product if you tried me up and drug me behind a truck. Look I'm going to have this weed eater rebuilt but, the fact is I only do five lawns, it's not like the old days where I did huge apartment complexes so right now I don't know what product to use I bought a Ryobi jet fan blower that lasted a year and the mower blew out am I using the wrong two-cycle oil I'm mixing my fuel right in California it's all 50 to 1 maybe when I say 50 to 1 I should go 30 to 1 but then people driving by in a car see your machine smoking and they stopping good hey that's smart you're creating smug you're polluting the atmosphere blah blah blah because that's how California's are so I replace my blower I bought a really nice battery powered blower and it's going to cost me about 70 75 dollars to put a new cylinder ring and piston in this trimmer because I know a guy. My question is what the hell has happened to the quality of these products in this country I barely had this thing two years and the Piston already blew up and my guy said that's what these models do they have really cheap Pistons so I don't know where to turn now I hate going battery but I'm afraid I'm going to have to

what ya need to do is get rid of that 128 and go with one of their 525's they're waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy better than those junk 128's they're lighter they feel more comfortable usin em they put out more power they're just an overall way better machine than those junk 128's

I would take a bora sccope and look inside the cylinder walls. I have made videos with mine doing the same thing. Check air filter, fuel line, replace fuel filter ?
