FREEZING Temperatures, Snow and Biting Winds - Solo Wild Camp in the Lake District Mountains

The Solo Summiteer

Күн бұрын

Solo mountain wild camp on Dale Head in my Hilleberg Soulo. This was my first trip out after having covid for a second time, the week before. With hindsight I should probably left my recovery a it a bit longer as I’ve been struggling with low energy levels and fatigue since this trip. I really enjoyed it though and it was great to have a return to winter conditions and some stunning cloud formations in the sky.
Drone used is the DJI Mini 2.
Many thanks for watching - Dave

I really have to admire you Dave. Having been hit by Covid myself at the start of it I know what it can do to a reasonably fit person. To keep going out to present your channel for our enjoyment just shows your passion and determination. I enjoy wild camping myself but I would struggle to do what you do. Hopefully I will bump into you one day. Thanks for the entertainment. Regards John Mac (and Jill)

I have spent about 6 months in total hiking and climbing in Norway and loved your mountain hut system of Trust when it comes to leaving money for goods far away from shops etc....I was wondering how things might have changed in this electronic digital age because it was 1985 the last time I was in Norway. I was also amazed by how many snakes I seen ! I seen more snake's than I have seen in the jungles of Central and South America. Our winter conditions are Brutal because of the humidity...wet cold presents more challenges than dry cold ☹️
