Hey David! I also love this song. My dad introduced me to it many years ago when I was a kid. Love it 🙌🎶 hope the chuck is going well, think of it like a ghost strum. You are strumming down, but not making any sound because your blocking the strings with your palm 😊

I’m so glad you enjoyed the lesson, this song was made for the guitar 🎸 🙌⭐️ think of the chuck like you are strumming down, but muting the strings at the same time. It’s a tricky technique to get right so make sure you are playing it slowly at first and speed it up once you can do it without thinking 😊 all the best and good luck 🙌

Great lesson, thank you! Listening to the original, I noticed there is also an extra "down-up" on the first C-Chord in the intro. I find it sound a bit cheekier.

Good ear! Yes there is a walking bass line on the C in the intro! For beginner purposes I wanted to aim on teaching the walking bass line on the up beat to the verse 🙌 but you are right and yes it is cheeky! 😝

Hi Amber, would you mind to do some more tutorials like Ronan Keating When you say nothing at all and make sure you have everything the same way as Ronan Keating like same chords, same strumming patterns and same fingerpicking patterns. Also Lady Gaga’s songs like Shallow, Always remember us this way, is that alright, I’ll never love again, Million Reasons.
