That was the embellished part of the story. Elvis was far too paranoid after the assassinations of JFK, MLK and RFK, to ever put himself in that vulnerable of a situation. I can almost 100% guarantee, that he never handed anyone he didnt know, especially Alice Cooper, a loaded firearm. I believe the rest of the story happened, but that gun was not loaded.

I love Alice Cooper, and this is a great story. Do I believe it happened? Yes I do. Well, most of it. All except for one part. There's no way Elvis handed him a loaded handgun, to point back at him. The reason I say that, is because Elvis became super paranoid after the assassination of JFK. That paranoia only intensified after the assassination of Martin Luther King. Then even more after RFK. He became obsessed with preventing that from ever happening to him. This meeting between Elvis and Cooper, would have taken place after all 3 of the men I mentioned were killed. So even though Cooper was famous, Elvis didn't know him on a personal level. This was their first, and most likely only meeting. So Elvis wouldn't have put himself in this vulnerable of a situation. Especially with someone he was meeting for the first time. Just my 2 cents.

love a c I have a concert of his that was considered a motion picture. only few songs left in the show. a c starts asking how old some of the girls in the crowd. a guy starts flipping off an yelling at a c. a c says I don't like boys and I'm going to break your arm in a minute. asked the girl you want to kiss me. she purked up and guy really started yelling at a c. lesson if you don't want your girl getting hit on don't take her to a ac concert. well back in the day anyway billion dollar baby tour I believe
