Congratulations on getting it done. Colin’s space was the most impactful for me because that seemed like the place where he shoved his “old life”. Now it is a place where it is woven into the family. It is not easy to move into someone else’s house. Now it is the family home and truly blended. I love how Christine acknowledges the “our home” at the end of the video.

What a beautiful couple! It’s been so inspiring to watch Christine & Colin work together to create space, and to really make a home for both of them and their baby. Best wishes for a wonderful future ! Excited to see how Mary will put her declutter muscles to work in her own home - her quiet dependable assistance with Colin & Christine has been impressive. April, you are the Space Maker Master and you give us all hope. Thanks for being you! Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! 🎉

This was an awesome series! In this last video, it certainly looked like the baby had started to drop, so I wasn't surprised to see the end graphic on the baby's birth. Congratulations Christine and Colin! It was great to see the development within their relationship as the declutter went along. In the beginning, they both seemed a little more hesitant in making decisions about things that had started out as the other's items, and by the end, the decisions were about the items as though they were all 'theirs', and how they would be using them together as a family.

Maybe the little drawers that were Grandmas could be fixed up and stored for when baby needs a bedside table ♥️. Well done on all the work, what a difference 👏🏻. Completely understand Colin’s words, I have been clearing and organising my belongings over the last 8 years…. Finally finished my ‘clearing out’ today….. excited to display my mementos of life (brilliant words from Colin’s mum!)…. Huge congratulations on baby, welcome to the world little one 💓🥳

I also thought that dresser and nightstand would make the cutest bedroom set for a little girl. Just add a white bed, and you've got a whole complete bedroom. They can stay in the mancave for a few years and once their daughter is old enough they can be repurposed up in her bedroom.
@MrsHerzueberKopf21 сағат бұрын
I thought all the time about give Colin the wire shelf thats in the organizer section, put it on the back wall and let this be the boardgame shelf. Or if they have time, they could build a full wall of shelfs for Boardgames, DVDS, Games and his mementos. That would be so nice for him, a real man cave!

I love that you focused on a couple combining households. They each had things they really liked and were their style in their own homes before they moved into one house together. That's always tough when someone has to get rid of things they like just because of space limitations. You couldn't have had two more even keeled people with which to show this type of decluttering process.

This has been such a great start for this couple. April you are so patient and kind and helpful. Recognizing Colin’s sentimental nature helped him visibly relax. It was a gargantuan job. Good to know they have a great game plan moving forward. I loved how Mary supported her daughter so fiercely. Every day she showed up and quietly worked her tail off. Can’t wait to hear about baby’s arrival. I know this couole is worn out. Nine days of decluttering and organizing is exhausting. Can’t wait to get to know, Mary.

Barely a minute in and we're going to Mary's house? I legit am so excited, because I loved seeing how hard all of you worked and how Mary has been helping so much! And also, that you're helping them finish their house. I feel like getting my own stuff together shouldn't be as hard as it is, but I think one of the problems is I assume it's only going to take a few hours, but it needs way longer than a few hours. Just months of weekend work, probably. That is hard for me to face.

At one time we had the DVD binders but they weren’t very easy to manage. When I moved I bought the cd sleeves at Office Depot, transferred all my DVD’s to those and now they fit in a small box in my tv cabinet drawer. It takes up about a 10”x4” space! This has been a great series and a pleasure to watch all of you working so hard together. April your gentle way and respect to Colin and Christine is awesome. I’m looking forward to watching Mary’s series!

I highly recommend that Colin use some DVD binders! I was able to condense an entire bookcase of DVDs into 2 heavy duty DVD binders from Amazon! The only things I kept in their cases were box sets. So helpful for my international move! I can still flip through my collection without boxes and boxes of plastic cases that aren’t really necessary 😊
