@Mercury Hill it will probably make mounds of dirt and still web up on the side of the enclosure...just might not be as intricate. But it depends on the species. Chilobrachys seems to webb up no matter what is in there.

I recently bought a Mexican Fire Leg T, and I absolutely love it! all though, sense it's a sling, the little guy is taking so damn long to grow. I decided to add 4 more T's to my collection.ink Leg Salmon Bird Eater, Green Bottle Blue, King Baboon, and a Pumpkin Patch Tarantula. So excited to say the least. I know that I should of kept away from the New Wolds, but...…. I couldn't help myself. Especially the King Baboon. I heard they have a nasty attitude and also have medically significant venom. I will just have to be extra careful! I know that this has nothing to do with the video, but I thought I would make mention. Great video!

Hey Richard and the tarantula community, I am looking at getting my first T. I have been hoping to get a G. pulchripes. Quick question, most of the enclosures I can find locally have mesh tops, I've heard these can be dangerous if the T gets their claws stuck. I know the pulchripes aren't supposed to be big climbers, but wanted to get the community's opinion on mesh top cages, and how critical it is to avoid these. Love your videos! Thanks!
