About 10 years ago I made a coffee table out of 4 wine crates, so I guess we're pretty much the same. I absolutely love your creative solutions in your builds. You have the most enjoyable awkward swagger ever. Your builds are very much form follows function and they are brilliant. You are clearly driven by solutions and enjoy that process. Love your builds. Also, if you are ever building a coffee table out of wine crates and you get stuck, holla. Aloha

Ah, so that's how to handle the beams. We had a second set of solar panels added on, and the new guy at our mechanics Did Not Listen when I told him to put a strip of the butyl under each bracket. 😑 Now I absolutely need to improve the ceiling insulation. I showed a friend your previous vid and he said, would you (me) do it again if you had the money? I said in a heart beat, but I'd go right to The Man in Texas. But first, the lottery. 🤣 Free dogs are the best. Also, if you're doing paid work, you're a Professional Craftsman. Happy New Year!

I just started watching your videos and I have to say they are educational and entertaining. One thought came to mind, it would be very easy to make your trucks with a Faraday cage in the walls if done right you could protect all the electronics in the vehicle. Putting in the Faraday cage would incur additional costs but since you're putting it within the metal walls of the truck a lot of your work is already done. Just giving you something to think about.

Very cool builds. I can see a big shed going up soon, so you can work inside out of the rain! What's a U-haul Conversion cost? Ever thought of putting any size matress on a vertical lift and lowering it when needed and raising it when not needed? I've been thinking about converting an old ambulance into an RV? Or sometimes I like to think big! An old 359 Peterbilt with a twin screw tandem cab/frame with a 24 foot box converted into an RV with 10 feet of storage space at the back. I do like watching people converting vehicles into RV's or sheds into tiny homes! I'll be waiting for part 2.

Thanks! Lift beds take up too much headroom in my opinion. A slim one could work in a Uhaul but not a van. As far as costs, all depends on what features/materials you use. 10k minimum I'd say. Sky's the limit

exceptional build. gives me so many ideas and ways to do things. Best of all I think is the use of standard building materials and not that super expansive stuff the "pro" builders use in their million dollar build for clients who end up parking them, at the million dollar condo in Aspen.... Can't wait for part 2 and more....

I did a custom fiberglass shower pan over OSB in my cargo trailer conversion. It failed after a year and didnt stick at all or something. Tore out and replaced with aqua defense, we'll see how it holds up.

Me again. Look up those variegated sand pit drains. Basically, you dig a hole about 2'x5' deep where the water puddles, then put layers of crushed rock and sand so the water drains down through. You can also do the PVC pipe thing, drill lots of holes in five foot pipes, sink them into the dirt, and they funnel the water lower into the ground.

You have an incredible stealth build but the other more important aspect is the vehicles ability to roll down the road dependably. Here in central Florida near Interstate 95 we constantly see Non stealth rigs, Vans, RV’s, stealth Rigs dead on the road. My local Lowes is a haven for broke down rigs and abandoned dreams. I have seen abandoned rigs sit for weeks on the road much like the abandoned boats on the inter coastal water way and this does not help the nomad life style. I’ve driven many U-hauls over the years and they are not retired with allot of life left. If the chassis is strictly a tax break sitting in a back yard for economical living and rarely moving that’s perfect. If someone’s spending this much money on the perfect mobile stealth rig more attention might be spent in the beginning stages to the engine and drive train or maybe you just haven’t touch on that yet? 😅
