On “Come to Life”, a beautiful spine-tingling love-telling story off of Donda, Kanye sings about his desire for another life and wishing he had listened more to his wife, Kim Kardashian’s thoughts, dreams, and aspirations. He brings to light his mixed emotions about her presence and her absence while expressing how he doesn’t want to die alone without her specifically at his side. Songs like this where Kanye sings about the significance of his wife and kids to him while beautiful instrumentals and synths play in the background make this song one of his most beautiful songs of all time. Some as far as calling it the “Runaway” of Donda.
