Every animal that enters Uncle Ben's field of vision is nothing but fuel for Big Ounce. Both male and female capybaras have those scent glands (they have two types of scent glands; the one on the snout is called a morrillo), it's just that the morrillo is more developed in males. So yes, Gort IS a male. The double-wattled cassowary is the only one of the three living Cassowary species that can be found in Australia (the other two are found only in New Guinea and its surrounding islands). While the double-wattled cassowaries are listed as Least Concern (though their numbers are dwindling in Australia), the Grey crowned crane that he has is endangered in the wild, so it's important to breed them in captivity so they have a better chance of surviving in the wild.

I'm impressed with the ten thousand Sloppy Joes Big Ounce made for the homeless with his meal cow. He is definitely a true humanitarian. Nobody got swampass from his food and everyone lived happily Ouncer after. That's because I raised him right. When I saw Big Ounce abandoned in the woods, I knew he deserved a chance at life and so I took him in, taught him the Juche idea, and he just got wiser and wiser from there. So proud of my boy. Cassowaries, though also found in New Guinea, are endangered in Australia. So many chicks (who are looked after by the males) get hit by cars there. And tourists and locals alike just get too close or comfortable around them. Like other creatures when they breed, they prefer to be left alone so it's a human's fault when they attack as defense.

He told me, “son, there are things that you and I can’t understand, but If it happens once, it’s an accident, twice? A coincidence, but a third time is almost always a pattern” and I didn’t get it until I got older and started seeing these patterns. We all know that Big Ounce did most of the work on that building when Uncle Dad Farmer Ben was in Florida.
