I don’t understand the lady at the table said that she’s been doing her restaurant for six years and that six years ago nobody was talking about vegan but that’s not true. It’s been going on since at least decades. Dr. McDougall, Chef AJ, to name a few.

When I lived in Kansas City, I used to LOVE McCoy's Public House. And the Mud House used to be a coffee shop. Another restaurant that offered many vegan options was Jerusalem Cafe in Westport. I don't know if it is still open, but the had the BEST hummus. And Eden Alley was one of my favorites. I loved their vegan nut loaf, they used to serve it with smashed sweet potatoes, and wild rice. I really need to go back and see all of the new vegan options.
