I’m sure you are tired. Never a dull moment. Our roosters lay with toes up and yes, sort of freaks you out. It always amazes me how your plants survive the ruff handling and many of us are so careful with our seedlings 😅. Oh, and the flowers are all blooming and I don’t remember them being planted. The supper looked great! Cherish every moment even when you’re too tired.

Love the detail on the planting bit of the tractor. Those plastic flats look really sturdy but also very flexible. Kale is an easy grower and if you have the space to let it flower then you get to save seeds. I also guess that it depends on local weather but it is very hardy. I have seen khol rabi being popular the last few years but not tasted it. If it is like swede/Rutabaga, in terms of space, then we probably don't have space to grow it. Living in London, UK, it's very hard to find local growers for market, where we live. ULEZ charges of £12.50 a day has made it harder for growers to come into London now with older, less efficient vehicles. I was very lucky with my 2005 ford fiesta! I am probably that one person who prefers the stems of broccoli to the florets. Again another thing we don't grow due to space but sprouting broccoli is something we have been meaning to grow for cut and come again.
