@celestialchik no he is not justifying that, he's trying to illustrate how certain conditions can and have pushed people to do these unthinkable things. Our system of seeking justice by locking them away or killing them may feel good to those who have no understanding of human behavior. But it never destroys a value system, nor does it address the desperate conditions that drive people into killing and violence.

Heres an idea to get kids excited: How abou some 'Venus Project Toys'? The kids would want them, they would beg their mommy and daddy, the toy city could come with a bonus Disc describing the new economy. Next, the parents will be intrigued to visit site, then will want to get involved. *The disc could be understandable for children see the difference in each economy. Hows that?

@Conibeer it really depends on the conditions at that time; if enough people are out of work/not eating/homeless and enough people know about this system then it might be funded through government grants, or NPO's or NGO's. It sounds far fetched i know but consider what they did under FDR-and the wealthy hated his guts-but they avoided a revolution. But in the present climate i can't see how any candidate even slightly outside the dominant values would get in.

Also, there is an easy way to transcribe this video, by using InqScribe, and if you change the playback speed to 2x slower, it's even easier

It's so sad to see Jacque and Peter part ways. I'm hoping that's not the case. We're in such a dire situation right now, we can't afford to be at odds. I'm sure Peter means well, and he probably didn't intend to take this whole approach on his own. But if he did, than I sincerely hope he takes the time to make ammends with Jacque. 'Irony' : he used a 'plastic beak'. Anyway, basically, the birds are drawn to 'animation', just like our brains, look at multimedia. 'Hereditary mechanism' could basically be an electric current which short circuits the chemistry beyond the autonomy to provide self preservation. During pregnancy, the chemical response within the definition of 'the autonomous self' has been guiding an electric circuitry, making an extension of the 'self' and its defining, which gives the maternal instinct the temporary projection as like to a body part of whatever animal. 'Giving birth' would be like 'losing an arm or a leg'. Now, as we are 'conscious' about that process, the electromagnetic orientation of our 'defining' is being 'conditioned'. The awareness telling us 'I am pregnant', partly polarizes its defining (and with it, the electromagnetic field of relative orientation), which changes the mechanism of conditioning, and thus the 'self' in relation to the notion.'Instinct' is just the lacking of 'conscious prediction' on the mechanics of consequence of an action, the fact that electric current (in brains) had (and has) made to evolve ourselves up to that very point in time, now, is just proof of a system. It is a system which 'works', until saturation comes. Our current boundary (Earth), is gradually permitting our DNA within those boundaries, until our chemical saturation is so profound, that an elimination process is starting up. Our 'instinctive coherence', which is providing numerous actions out of our 'field of expertise', will have the natural limits of 'course of actions', clashing with the 'universal limits of 'course of action', and the ecosystem imploding, will eliminate us by means of the action of micro organisms (likely). The reason for that is that the 'ergonomic orientation' of the electric current steering 'conscious and instinctive acts', are easier by means of orienting the motive (relative position within the electromagnetic field) of single celled organisms. We are like pigeons, our opinions have us looking for a proverbial 'magnetic North', in a world where 'truth' is incomplete and temporary in its abstraction.

I've never heard of animals eating their young to protect them from predators. I'd like to know what animal that is. I have however heard of Cichlid fish in Malawi lake (I think it was - in Africa) that holds their young in their mouths to protect them. They don't eat their young, but hold their young in their mouths until its safe to let them out. Could that be what Jacque is talking about? Anyway, always interesting listening to Jacque. May the resource-based economy become reality soon. :)
