I have followed the Guidelines of Problacism for many years and consequently I have been given everything I could possibly ever need or want. I also don't suffer from any anxieties, fears or depression. Problacism does not require any prayer, churches, iconoclasm or worship. All it requires is that you lose all your ego and indiscriminately help everyone who is 'sent' to you without any expectation of recognition or reward. Trust in the Universe and be Relentless.

Can you explain why people tend to believe in atheism instead of God? Are you saying their reasoning is faulty? Absolutely but why do they still reject God, in the face of "logically, organized hypotheses" about evidence of God and His meaning? Are they "unintelligent?" So, Jesus was right on the cross, "They know not what they do!" So, if they know not what they do, how can a God, in the end times, judge us for not knowing what we do? Can you explain the logic of God's judgment on us? I don't understand this logic. To me, God will come to "love the living and the dead," not to judge us. This, I believe, with all my heart. So if I believe this, how much more would God believe this and do it? This is my logic.

MOREOVER technology arose in many previous civilizations but failed to become science because of belief that the universe and/or God was incomprehensible. Rational thought is predicated on the natural revelation that the purpose we perceive is real.
@majmage2 жыл бұрын
Rational thought is about matching our beliefs to the evidence. So on the topic of god our lack of evidence means we should have no belief.
@garymoffatt82922 жыл бұрын
The objective of rational thoughts not to match beliefs but values. If you sit down in your office chair you are matching your belief to the evidence. If the chair collapses you are not going to stop believing in chairs, you need the chair, and mostly they work, so you just get another chair. Both the physical universe and biology could not exist without an initial state of information that had to come from outside time and space. A message requires a sender and a sender from outside time and space defines God. This is incontrovertible evidence. On the negative side, absence of God there is only the power ethic, and if you believe in that your whole existence is just waiting for something to come along and eat you. Even if you are a rabbit you need to believe you have value or you could not go on living.
@majmage2 жыл бұрын
@@garymoffatt8292 You don't seem to understand matching beliefs to evidence. _All history isn't magically erased when the chair collapses._ Meaning that person still has evidence chairs work most of the time, justifying a belief they're reliable (at least unless he somehow got enough evidence of chairs breaking to outweigh the historic evidence). Are you saying you have to redefine god to believe in it? So everything at scale (asteroids, moons, planets, etc) happened due to a non-intelligent natural process, which means it's possible and maybe even likely our own universe was caused by a similar non-intelligent process (from outside our universe), _and you would call that non-intelligent process a "god"?_ (Seriously?) Or maybe Bob from Accounting simulates a universe on a computer and it happens to be ours, and you'd say _he's_ a god? (He's just a human. Yeah he's not composed of the time or matter of our universe, but so what?) Your last point suggests you don't value truth (more than you value hope). For example _when Gary tells you leprechauns exist and hide pots of gold, that's hopeful!_ You might find one. To stop believing in leprechauns is to lose that hope. So to you is that an argument to believe in leprechauns? That's _ridiculous._ Truth is what matters, not whether the idea is hopeful. (Because any idea, even falsehoods, can be designed to be hopeful. And if people get suckered into hopeful ideas regularly, then dishonest people will exploit that weakness in others -- as religion appears to do!)

How do you know that this statement is true? I believe you yourself are holding onto some myths that are not true of Christianity. I do not care for man-made religions that ascertain that works will gain man salvation. Christianity alone states that it is the merit of Jesus Christ that will save a man, not his performance. It is alone in what it posits concerning the spiritual realm. This Truth does not tear societies apart at all. It gave rise to Christian Europe.

An urban legend attributes this change of perspective to when American astronomer Edwin Hubble showed Einstein his observations of redshift in the light emitted by far away nebulae - today known as galaxies. After Hubble discovered that the universe was expanding, Einstein called the cosmological constant his "greatest blunder."
