"(Men &) Women, God designed you to be cherished as a soul before you are enjoyed as a body" so powerful. I will certainly impress that message upon my own children one day

Thank you for this post. "Soul wounds"? Does this elude to the pop culture phrase "soul ties"? I know there is discrepancy in Christendom about wether or not "soul ties" exist...I just wanted to know your thoughts about what Biblical grounds to use the phrase. Thanks.

Most of the time sex is forced and manipulated and distorted
@framboise5953 жыл бұрын
@ Sushmita Tupakula So what ? What matters is that regular sex occurs as the Bible states it in order to keep us away from temptations. Chandler is such a liar .

@@framboise595 So true. Regular sex keeps the temptation and the devil away. And sex is something sacred which God ordained married couples to engage in both for pleasure and procreation. It is important that both man and woman acknowledge the fact that God made us to be sexual beings and we should use our sexual organs if we want to get married. Because that’s what marriage is or about: sexual intimacy, bonding, communication, trust and procreation.
@framboise5953 жыл бұрын
@@kennethfok Yes but the way Chandler and co portray marriage is scary. Marriage has been turned into some romantic piece of ... that can never been a sin fix anymore. We can say that Satan has triumphed with such weak teachings because marriage today is no longer a long term solution for sex as God meant it to be. Modern marriage teachings are lame , weak and awful. I heard my own pastor tell his brothers that their wives are no "sex objects" and that sex should not be our priority in marriage . I can't stand those teachers anymore. They do so much damage with their tongues that too much is too much. If marriage is no sin fix anymore , then Christians have no point in getting married. So , what's left for them ? Like the heathens of the Roman empire , prostitution , casual sex ? Their teachings are devilish and I'm not afraid to say it loud.

29:50 cherished as a soul ? When Adam first saw Eve he said : "This is now bone of my bones , and flesh of my flesh " No mention of soul at all . Just saying ... Marriage is not about the mingling of souls but the mingling of bodies To mingle souls , you do not need marriage . Early Christians were one soul .
@decklanwilliams47793 жыл бұрын
But do you think that he meant sex? It means that she is apart of him he of she. Not sexually but literally, she was bone of his bone and formed from the same dirt he was which is flesh of his flesh And also which early Christians do you speak of because we were first called Christians on the New Testament, and in the New Testament it says “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge” Hebrews 13:4 And Paul talked about marriage and sexual sin it says “I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:” 1 Corinthians 7:8-10 KJV Meaning if you can you can remain single as me so you can give God all your attention but this is not a command but if you have the desire for physical intimacy then marry because it is better to be married than be punished for fornication. So yes the mending of souls was meant for marriage and it was something practiced by all Christians from the New Testament to now, even from Adam to now. If you wish to receive any elaboration please feel free to ask☺️
@framboise5953 жыл бұрын
@@decklanwilliams4779 But marriage is the mingling of bodies first and foremost. You don't need to be married to mingle souls. Christians , through this wonderful gift called agape love are already one soul. David loved Jonathan as his SOUL . Not his body . Marriage is a very carnal thing . So carnal that Paul warns Christians to not turn apart from spiritual matters and wisely advise to defraud one another for a time in order to devote to spiritual matters like praying and fasting ( 1 Corinthians 7:5). It is a fact that Adam did not say that Eve is soul of his soul but flesh of his flesh.

@@framboise595 when Matt us talking about mingling of souls he isn’t referring to it in the context of friendship or a strong bond he’s talking about something higher and deeper than that

@@decklanwilliams4779 I'm sorry but this man is a joke. Physical intimacy is not about mingling souls but bodies !!! Be one flesh , be fruitful and multiply /Psalm 127/128 / 1 Corinthians 7:4-5 /Proverbs 5:18 Is Matt afraid of his own male sex drive ???Male sexuality is seen in the Bible as vigor and strength , as something that God blesses. Of course the mingling of souls is deeper and higher but it's not about marriage . Christians are one soul in Christ . It is highly spiritual . But we are not pure spirits ! We also have a body .
