I feel like they deliberately gave him wrong songs and when they shot his performances, it was always fast camera motions and dark(er) lights which psychologically isn't pleasant and creates a bit of discomfort. They somehow deliberately didn't support his best voice. He had the best audition and you can see he sings with a feeling, coming from somewhere else. Jason - I keep re-watching your audition 6 years on and always feel the power. You had the best audition and voice.
