Thanks for watching I appreciate 🍻 in a couple days your going to want to Jack up a wheel and double check there is no play in the rotor side to side. If there is adjust spindle nut in to the next hole the cotter pin wil fit through both the castle cover and nut! Then check again until no play 🍻 I always check this before I put the wheel on regardless of the torque procedure. That check checks the torque procedure was done correctly! not sure if I remember mentioning it ! Again thank you

I’ve been sitting here 3 days wondering why I can’t find a wheel hub assembly for my RWD Expedition. It doesn’t have one! Now I know the parts I’m looking for and most importantly , a fine example of how to get the job done . I just got the 5.4 truck with 100xxx miles on the dash and 200 miles on the fresh transmission. Now she’ll be back on the road and ready for work. Thanks a million!

Wow! I really do appreciate you taking the time to do an excellent tutorial of replacing the from brakes pads and rotors.... I am doing this job on my sisters truck and I was hoping it was 4X4 cause it’s a bit easier .... you just take off the caliper bracket to get the rotor off the hub stays on!!! Lol.... not doing a wheel bearing replacement😳!! But it’s kool .... I’m a Chinook Mechanic and it brought back the old days of doing wheel bearings grease jobs on them after water landing when we extract and retrieve Special Ops guys!! Again thanks a lot of your excellent video man!! Take Care!! 😊

Long time diesel/industrial/jeep mechanic here, and I don't need this video, but I approve of it! Lol I am walking someone through this on the other side of the country, and I needed a good video to walk them through it, and this is perfect, well explained, and very simple to understand. The only thing I would do differently is adding grease on the inner seal land on the spindle (you added it to the seal itself which is just about as good, but I do both so it has complete protection, rust protection as well), and I save the brake clean on the rotor step until it's installed, to get my greasy fingerprints off it lol I would also remove the caliper prior to taking the bracket bolts out, to avoid a dynamic removal of the bracket as seen in the video ;) But that said, if you do this EXACTLY as you show, it works! Thank you.
@ATEMOFFROAD3 жыл бұрын
Thanks I really appreciate it! I change up how I do things all the time, definitely brake clean on the rotors at the end, and I was hoping to pull everything apart at the same time which it just didn’t happen the way I wanted to film it! I think they just fell out of my hands, I do always do pull the piston caliper before the support bracket first! Also I did finally spend the money on a nice bearing packer, definitely beats manual hand packing, some things I would do differently if I Re do this video, thanks for watching! Cheers!
