Commander in Chief not leader in chief. Why would Biden being CinC be a problem? He’s rallied NATO to support Ukraine, sent two carrier groups to the Middle East and authorized multiple strikes against Iranian proxies among other things. He’d handle China just fine.

USA cant afford to supply money to Taiwan. USA debt ceiling is collapsing. USA sell weapons to Taiwan not supply. How can USA survive without WAR. Taiwan not a sovereign country. It just one of China's Provinces. Is Taiwan military stronger than USA? Nope. If USA is that strong, why USA needs to rally for more allies other than the pack of NATO, EU, G7, AUKUS, 5 Eyes and QUAD just to confront China? Today, China ain't Iraq, Iran or Saudi. The life in communism much stable and safer than in the world so-called superpower USA. The no Freedom in China where Americans had the FREEDOM shoot anyone when they feel like it.

Because it was ruled by the Qing dynasty until Japan conquered it. After WWII, it was ceded back to the Republic of China, who largely controlled China for many decades at that point, but the PRC won the civil war on the mainland. They have thus far been unable to take the island from the ROC government in exile.

The PRC believes that anything that was conquered or under the control of any Chinese authority at any time in history belongs to them. But they conveniently ignore the times in history when China was under the control of foreign countries. For example the Western powers, mainly Britain or Japan

@@TehKarmalizer data of color you kinda pointed: the Kuomitang wich was the other side of the chinese civil war (non communist China) went there escaping of the massacre, so from there Taiwan _IS_ a free state, but Chinese communist goverment want to gain that to finish any oposition, gain more popularity with it's own people (wich is lacking) and also would gain access to Pacific Ocean without any issues, since right now China is surrounded water/wise by lots of nations, and cannot go whenever wants

Great video Nick , China also has a major problem with lack of confidence in the PLA , they are highly superstitious and have the last invasion attempt as a reminder. China is nearing an economic collapse and the Chinese people knows this creating hatred for the CCP. Also is the internal infighting between the PLA and CCP military leaders , there has already been at least one attempted assassination of the CCP’s top military secretary by the PLA. Now we look at Chinas combat experience, they have no one in rank or file with any combat experience but Taiwan has , since they have been used in many American illegal wars. China’s high tech weapons have also not been tested in war and their pilots can’t even fly at night. Taiwan has now increased its military budget along with Japan , the Philippines and Vietnam , all countries that will be targeted by China. Xi is at a huge disadvantage and will not invade Taiwan unless as a distraction from its collapsed economy.

Correction. Taiwan only have freedom since late 1980s. Before then, Taiwan government was as authoritarian as, or even more than, China.

Further comparison can be found with China's land neighbhors, Hong Kong and India. China has tried and failed to take these places over militarily multiple times, which is why I expect the CCP has been engaged in an economic dominance strategy for some time. But even that is now failing and I expect we will see the end of the CCP shortly just as every communist country has fallen before it, under its own poor economic choices.

China has ICBMs right? They could probably launch 10,000 of those to soften the shoreline a bit prior to landing. Not sure if Taiwan has the air defenses to keep up or not, but it could be a game-changer.

So how is China supposed to launch those when invading since their people would be in the crossfire? If you mean before their boots hit the beaches then that’s pointless because they don’t know where all of Taiwan’s defenses are and new defenses would be mounted.

There are these new things called satellites, drones and reconnaissance planes that will give them all of that info. They also know where the nation's leadership is and would likely strike there first. Also remember the CCP does not care if their people are being hit by the bombardment.

ICBM is stand for inter-CONTINENTal ballistic missile. Taiwan is not in another continent. It's just off the coast from China. ICBM just can't be targeted to hit something that close. Also, ICBMs are reserved for big games, i.e. USA and Russia, and maybe India. China won't use it against Taiwan, even if they have to risk losing the invasion.

China also has thousands of shorter range missiles they can use if they wish, many of which can be launched from submarines and destroyers or battleships. As well, China would never launch an overt assault on the US. Their clandestine invasion is going so well it would be an extraordinary waste. Why would they want to damage their new country when they can take it over without firing a shot?

The PRC (People's Republic of China) aka Communist China has some 250 to 300 ICBMs. These are very large (the rockets used to send up satellites, or towards the moon are a variation of ICBMs) 🚀 ICBMs are closely monitored by dozens, if not hundreds of governments and international organizations. Now rockets (unguided) and short or intermediate range missiles, the PRC does have thousands of. Not all can reach Taiwan. Also, a significant number of those weapons are needed as deterrence against Russia, India, the Koreas (North and South), Japan, the USA, Vietnam, and other nations.

Very intelligent and i believe a correct response to a Chinese non nuclear attempt to invade, and you didn't even bring into the equation of an allied response to help defend Taiwan,US, Australia, Japanese, Korean and others would most likely get involved directly to help repel an invasion and one thing you left out due the short video,China with all their alleged military might,has never since its communist victory, launched a full out war ,they didn't beat Vietnam and taking in its updated military,you pointed out correctly,we have far better and proven weapons including a tested Air Force, missiles and missile defense,If China tries ,maybe with help from her allies it gives people in China a distraction to overthrow the Communists
