#witchroutine #beginnerwitch #easywitchcraft
This is the video for you if you are looking for some simple and easy things to do as a witch.
These witch hacks are great for any secret witch, easy and time-efficient enough for all busy witchcraft practitioners, and can be weaved effortlessly into your daily witchcraft practice - even if you are a lazy witch. Of course, they can also be part of an easy routine for beginner witches.
But let me start by telling you the secret behind all of these witch hacks:
The secret to practicing witchcraft every day is to weave the magic into the mundane. And with that I mean to take very mundane, boring, daily tasks and chores and make them magical with intentional acts, mindful focus, or with specific equipment used. That way you can have a daily witchcraft practice, without spending much extra time or effort - your magick will become part of you and your daily routine as a witch.
We will be talking about the benefits of daydreaming, mindfulness, and finding sacred space. Furthermore, we will be looking into glamour magick and ritually crafted self-care products. There are of course also some tips on kitchen witchery included, and tips for my fellow cottage witches. I also share some witch tips and tricks on my daily journaling and tarot routine and show you how to live in sync with the natural energies. I would love to read how you practice simple witchcraft or how you incorporate simple things to do as a witch into your daily routine :)
The visuals in this will take you along through parts of my witch routine on a lovely spring day.

I live in a townhouse (attached home) with a band of very tall trees growing just back from my small backyard that acts as a buffer between my neighborhood and a nearby golf course. I try to walk around in the mini-forest at least once each week, just talking to the trees and trying to be friendly with them. Maybe I'm nuts, but over the years mine is the *only* house (out of 16 along the block) that hasn't incurred relatively serious damage from falling trees, boughs, and/or branches in a storm. :-)

I as well. I like to curl up at the base and snuggle in. Trees are very slow vibration, certain trees like Oak, Willow, Juniper or Ceder have special effects and it's a very quick release when anxiety comes. Remember to send love back and leave a thank you and a strand of your hair for a gift

doing things intentionally is so important to my craft. I take daily medication for my adhd, and taking it is the first bit of magic each day for me. It is a reminder that I do not need to be perfect to be whole, and that I have worked hard to get to where I am. It's also a promise to do the things I need to do, to protect myself from the spiral of anxiety I end up in when I'm unmedicated.

So I am not sure how many others do this but one of the ways I started simple was in the shower when I go to wash my hair I will let the water run over my head imagining it pulling all the negative from my brain and body. It feels really nice but yet very simple. I feel so much better afterwards. Almost brand new.

Practical witch tips: - try using what's around you first. Oftentimes the best solution is right under your nose, plus you arent spending more than you need to - dont work with new materials until you know how to do so safely, especially when made into something consumable or burnable - dont underestimate how useful a funnel can be. curled up paper can work - keep a journal. doesnt have to be daily, just note what works and doesnt work, what new things you learn, and what you want to learn. Journaling can also be a great time to practice mindfulness and gratitude
@daswitchling

I loved all of your tips!! Can't wait for part three ✨ I think the easiest one for me is definitely working with mindfulness. I like to use a method called 5x5x5 (usually taught against coming anxiety attacks but it works perfectly for grounding and centering yourself in the now) You just need to focus on 5 things you can see, 5 things you can hear and 5 things you can feel. It's super effective, low energy and not time consuming and can be done everywhere you are! I also include Sigils everywhere I go, on jewelry, my skin, clothing (very honored for including me in your teachings 💚). I also loved your tips about creating sacred spaces in your life that can work as a safety bubble or power house. It never occurred to me to use my mind to create a sacred space, absolutely love it!
@Thewitchescookery

Ohhh I am so glad to hear! I love that method - I do that too when I go on my morning walks. It is super grounding and helpful 😊🌼 As I am a little day dreamer I always liked to create those sacred spaces in my mind but the time I really, really learned to do it purposfully was when I looked into hypnobirthing 😀

I agree. I keep the magick flowing by observing seasonal changes in the Sabbats. I also enjoy moon magic and use this to reinforce my selfcare. Being a Kitchy Witchy I love to cook for all festivities, no matter what - it could be Diwali or Bastille Day or Walpurgisnacht - anything. My Kochkalender is really full and I find that the more I research and cook unknown recipes, the more awesome recipes I find that can be used for so many correspondences that it enhances my kitchen witchery. 😊😋💕 My altar is my kitchen, I don't really do deities, I'm agnostic but I love the symbolism and folk magic that keeps my house feeling like a cozy home 😊x

Still in the broom closet, but I personally like working with sigils and writings. I've always loved the Latin language and been drawn to it ever since I can remember, so I've been considering looking into roman mythology. I have a mint plant on my windowsill, and a few pieces of amethyst and rose quarts. I do a lot with visualisations, and I have hyper empathy too so I work a lot with just energy from my surroundings.

Question, do "Witches" actually believe they have any sort of supernatural powers? Like, do they really think they can do spells or incantations? Am I missing a joke?
@Thewitchescookery

No, they don't - that would be fictional witchcraft :) it is more about psychology, mindfulness and living with nature

Depends what culture you are speaking of or for what purposes you need them. I would suggest any history book on Nordic/Scandinavian and Teutonic/Germanic history :) you have for example the different Futharks. As for the meaning of them: they are slightly differently interpreted in the different old Norse streams. So for example Norwegian and Islandic do have major overlaps but subscribe a slightly different interpretation. If you want to use it for divination, you can basically just use whatever - it is a modern day invention and not how they originally were used:)

I see bad things before they happen and my visions have saved my life. This is just who I am. I guess I'm a witch. And I have never been prouder. Oh and my birthday is June 21st. Lol

I love to bake and cook for my loved ones and coworkers. I put positive feelings and wishes out into my final product. I also use techniques or cooking tools given to me by my grandmas who have passed on or my mom. It helps me feel a connection and gratefulness for those that have passed on and an admiration and gratefulness for my mom who is here.
