I was shocked when John Hartford appeared at the end, and 'Drunken Presbyterian' was cut short. John was a master of the fiddle and setting the mood. He really augmented the song and chorus. I got to play with him once, at a city festival. What a great man! But a half hour before he was to go on, he went off into a corner and got his head ready for the show. The sign of a real pro.

Please elaborate on that statement. I have met Miss Alison a couple of times over the last few years, and I haven't seen any signs of a problem.
