Ozric Tentacles has easily become one of my favorite instrumental bands of all time. And yes, they’re particularly good live. Their music is so exotically wild and out of this world. It’s as if these guys were from another planet. If they were, it would have to be Neptune 😆.

Their music is a clear, expansive, mind changing delight. Starting with pungent effulgent I recommend buying all of their cds. over the years I have seen the band play live over 100 times, and they never play a bad track ever, If you get the chance go and see them.

Awesome that you got to hear Ozrics, a truly unique, and underappreciated band! There have long been synthesizers in rock music, but no one composes with them the way Ed Wynne does! All instrumental, all the time, blending amazing and unlikely influences into their own sonic landscape. There are now 40 years worth of albums for you to explore, if so inclined, and their earliest home-grown cassette recordings are still impressive to this day. I think of it this way: 100 people hear Ozrics for the first time, and 99 just keep walking…but that other one…is blown away, transfixed, and becomes a loyal fan for life! I’m raising my hand 🙋♂️

I just discovered them recently. They mix reggae, EDM, ambient and much more into a tasty almost meditative groove. I would love to explore their creations with you. Stay well

So I need to have a drink and talk about music with Guy Whitey Corngood - he keeps having you react to some of my favorite unknown artists (Rosalie Cunningham, Ozric, etc). I saw these guys in concert in a small venue in Milwaukee during their US tour in 1995ish. In fact it’s weird how many times I keep finding myself on your channel when I search “ reaction”. You should listen/react to Shpongle. But I bet Guy Whitey Corngood suggests it sooner or later.

Nice to see You both finally reacting to Ozrics. Been into them for years. Let's face it; if You're into Hawkwind & King Buffalo, You're probably into Ozric Tentacles. 🤘🎸🎼🎵🎶🎙🎤
