As Daniel said, if you react to it (and it's a great choice) absolutely go for the lyric video. The videoclip is unfortunately a supercut version that misses half of it and is super-rushed, it really doesn't do justice to the song.

So some stuff about the singer, and some suggestions: The singer Dani Filth is basically what Kanye thinks of himself, a lyrical genius. Dani is very VERY poetic, and has degrees in different fields of writing and literature. Dani is known for his higher pitched screaming, which you heard in this song a little bit. Mostly at the end of the second chorus. This was from quite a while down the line in terms of albums (the album name was also Nymphetamine, and came out in 2004), but he did that scream a LOT more in older stuff. As far as videos he my fav song, Born In A Burial Gown, and my dad's fav song, Her Ghost In The Fog, are really good, the latter being one a lot of people have reacted to. But honestly any song from their older albums would be good. Dusk And Her Embrace, Cthulhu Dawn, The Forest Whispers My Name, Tortured Soul Asylum, A Gothic Romance (Red Roses for the Devil's Whore), Beneath the Howling Stars, Malice Through the Looking Glass, The Twisted Nails of Faith. Just to name a few lol The vast majority of the good old stuff don't have music videos. There's also From The Cradle To Enslave, but be warned there is a censored and uncensored version. The uncesnored will be age gated or worse banned from youtube, and is VERY fucked up.

Liv Kristine joined Theatre of Tragedy in 1993. She and Raymond Rohonyi contributed to development and popularization of the Beauty and the Beast dynamic between vocalists - male harsh vocals and female clean vocals. There were also Tristania with Vibeke Stene and Trail of Tears with Helena Iren Michaelsen, who had been in consideration as a singer for Epica before Simone Simons. They also used that dynamic. It is still used by Epica and was used by Within Temptation (in the first album) and After Forever until the split-up to name a few. Theatre of Tragedy - Cassandra & Der Tanz Der Schatten live Kraków (2000) Leaves´ Eyes is about as old as Epica and it was founded by Liv and her then-husband Alexander Krull. She was in that band until 2016. She was replaced by Elina Siirala (who is a second cousion to Tuomas from Nightwish). She is now in a band with her own sister called Midnattsol (folk and symphonic). And yes, they really are just that fucken good. XD I'd highly recommend pretty much anything off of cruelty and the beast, and dusk and her embrace. This is a real good melody . This has a real art behind . The voice of Liv is unbelievable . She is interpretating the words and her part . A real performance . 1'18"-1'23" it would be good hearing out thoughts like speaking in person in a big music lovers reunion with subscribers . For now it's certainly not the time but i enjoy the vibes in my mind . Try THE classic of them, "From the Cradle to Enslave". It was their breakthrough. Get the uncensored version introduced by Dani Filth, the lead singer. Masterpiece. They also made a fantastic cover of the Heaven-17 song "Tempation". Which is very remarkable. I guess no metal band ever covered this song. You need kind of balls to dare to cover a song that was so iconic in the pop sector. And it is very well made with another female guest singer.
