What happened to the borstals! Bring them back. This young MAN is obviously seriously corrupted and mentally iill to be a danger to everyone as seen when at school. Now our teachers areexpected to be full time social workers, but held with one arm behind their backs due to new laws of political correctness at every turn!

Sorry, I was under the impression that I lived in a country where you had to be proven to have done something wrong to be put inside. Precisely what moment in time should he have been locked up? I need you to demonstrate how you would identify this moment and what charges need to be brought. This needs to be in the context of all the other work the authorities have to do, you can’t throw everyone inside, the Tories left us with full prisons. We are not in the world of the book 1984 where the thought police can put you away, nor Minority Report where crimes are predicted. Bottom line is “get real”

@@janicebirch7522 if only a lot of teachers weren’t equally culpable in pushing the narrative. Unfortunately, being involved in the profession myself, a lot would be bending over backwards to defend this killer.

@danielhornby5581 The teacher's lot it seems and especially in Primary Schools where many teachers are women are seen as mothers and carers and expected to just ' get on with it,' as so many do ( and men of course) but a rather sexist attitude to them or maybe it's my perception. . I do think the closure of special need units is a factor and the lack of teaching assistants in primary schools. Give the teaching assistants pay rises . They are not expecting to deal with all the social problems of the country in the classroom and neither are newly graduated teachers! No surprise they are either leaving teaching for the same pay without the huge responsibility for caring fo other people's children or going to teach in other countries! What a waste to the UK economy and Treasury in the loss of their training and skills! When classes are large with young children, many not prepared for schools at reception and there is an increase in children having having special needs. Then children with English not as their first language and the Primary schools are not given the help they need to deal with what are the social problems in the country! But then expected to prepare children for constant tests for SATS added to OFSTED. Children can be helped in special need specialist centres; if they have behavioural problems which their teachers do not have time to help them. Children are often not prepared sufficiently to senior education and being with older children. Especially in schools with a huge number of children. I hope you agree with me. I accept what you're saying, but with dedicated teachers in my family the frustration I hear and see , as teachers now are supposed to be all things, to all people. Not excusing it and it has not happened with any teachers I know, but the line of least resistance: one can see why that might be! Worse for teachers in cities for Safeguarding to children when the increasing evil of criminality lurks outside the school gates every day! Police used to go into schools to give talks to pupils They do where I live , thankfully and the vicars men and women..🙏. Does this still happen in schools in the bigger towns and cities? Kero calm and carry on Daniel , our children and your country need you, as this government do not seem to appreciate, judging by their most recent policy! ?

@@erictaylor2831 Should have been remanded somewhere! We can't keep turning a blind eye to the social ills of division into our country and expecting teachers and police officers to push a government narrative and to be social workers, with insufficient funding to the multi faceted problems in communities, which now need police officers on our streets and going into schools and outside of schools.

Capital punishment costs far more than life in prison. The process is extremely expensive as there has to be so many rights of appeal, expensive legal processes and much higher rates of retrial as well as high medical costs involved in the procedure. In California the death penalty has been shown to have cost $4 billion more than if they were all given life in prison without parole. That’s never mind that about 1 in 20 people are wrongfully imprisoned and innocent - how do you reverse the death penalty when it’s found they were innocent (eg Birmingham 6 or Andrew Malkinson)?
