Hank Williams, Buddy Holly, Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, Ricky Nelson, Eddie Cochran, Mark Bolan, Janice Joplin, Bobby Darin, Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morisson, Sam Cooke, Amy Winehouse, Brian Jones (Founder member of The Stones ..died in 1969) and John Lennon were just a few. I was 16, I had a nice 56 Chevy Bel-Air car, an 8-track stereo player, a pretty blonde girlfriend, and I lived in San Pedro, California. I had the world by the tale. Life was good. Three years later, I was a door gunner in Vietnam but I still had my rock-and-roll music to listen to at night.

Thank you for your service friend and I do mean that, I wasn't old enough to go to Vietnam but I did register for the draft when I turned 18 but I had two brothers that were actually sent to Vietnam and another brother that entered the military at the end of the Vietnam War but never saw action my father was a WWII veteran and my oldest brother was in the military between Korean War and Vietnam so it matters to me my friend so glad you had our Rock and Roll to help get you through.
