For real. In baseball you get shit on for hitting a homerun when up a lot but its a game wiithout a time limit. The other team can run off 10 runs in an inning and you could lose that way. Dont know if it has but baseball never changes and ita so stupid that theres a ton of fans and players that want it to be fun but the generation in charge does not

Dude struck out on purpose to get the fans of Cincinnati pizza. There’s a deal with a local pizza chain that if the Reds get 11 strike outs everyone who has a ticket gets a small pizza. We had 10 strike outs and we’re getting blown out, think it was right when fans were let back in. Everyone was chanting “pizza”. Harper laughs and swings at a couple wild pitches, end of inning, last chance at pizza, he got it for us Dude is a legend in my book. Thank you for the pizza Bryce.

What I learned watching baseball for like 8 years: -unwritten rules are annoying; if you swing at 3-0 or bunt with a big lead why is that bad…no lead is safe even a 6 run lead in the 9th -you can’t pimp your home runs (bat flips, staring, etc.) otherwise the next batter gets the intentional HBP -if your team is down 1-2 runs during a no hitter why is it bad to bunt; you get paid to win games not bow down to someone else’s no hitter -teams either have money (dodgers, yankees, red sox, etc.) or super tank to get decent picks (pirates, royals, orioles, etc.) who end up leaving for teams with money -do not wear an astros hat at dodger stadium or even in the city of los angeles. bang bang the trash can -two of the greatest players in this generation can’t even make the postseason because their team is a mix of past their prime hitters or one year pitching experiments -the minor leaguers make less money than YOU watching this, and must rely on pb&j and cup noodles to survive Otherwise baseball is in my opinion relaxing and fun to watch, so long as you aren’t dealing with drunk fan fights

you don’t swing at 3-0 unless it is perfect, because on 3-0, they will have to either give you the perfect pitch, or risk a walk. it is more likely on a pitch that isn’t perfect, that you will get a shit hit, so a walk is just safer. However the more strikes you have, the less you want to leave it up to the umpire because they can make shit calls, or you could just miss something on the edge. Also bunting when you are up by a lot is just considered bad manners because bunting just sucks and is not fun. It makes sense if you have to make a winning play on a close game, or a bigger lead in a close game, but besides that, it is far more entertaining and fun for everyone to just hit the ball. Also bunting for a hit is rare, bunting is mostly used for advancing runner,so it’s generally really shitty to be the one bunting. Also the minor league thing is very shitty and I have no idea how they get away with it
