You are a sweet man to be helping this family. My Mom died from Dementia and it completely consumes the family's lives. Love and blessings to you for your kindness.

I always tell people I think it’s the saddest of all illnesses. I’ve been working with customers who have it and sometimes they try to double pay because they forget. I had a family member with it and it’s sad so see people slowly fall apart and forget. Also we have no real treatment or cure for it yet
@dreatafoya51622 жыл бұрын
Dementia is the longest goodbye because you know it’s coming. You initially mourn the loss of the person they were - then mourn the loss when they pass. I’m taking care of my mother and it is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Blessings to you and yours!

So many old folks dont have that and their grown children really take the brunt of all that, plus more. I love where you live and how slopey the yards are and big. I also like that big lawn mower. whoo. You've done a great job getting this yard looking nice again because it is rough. Very good job so far. The trimming edging and clearing is going to be the most time consuming, obviously. This clean up may put a substantial strain on your resources, your equipment, your time, and your energy. If you plan on doing it a step at a time, film it all and post it for sure. Cleaning up the front is going to be a challange to make it look good. Good luck and take care of you.

Good work! It doesn’t look abandoned any more! If you can tame the bushes, trim a tree or two, and edge the rest of the driveway, it will look lived in, and the owner can perhaps be persuaded to hire you to mow it for pay every now and then until he can deal with it himself. The idea I think should be to preserve it in decent shape, since some of it was a problem long before all of it was a problem! 🇨🇦💕

Oh that's a good idea! We might have to do that! I thought about filing the hole back in but its all heavy rock and clay! These houses are built on a old rock quarry!
@teddie_schaefer19632 жыл бұрын
@@TurfNinjasLawnCare it might not fill it up but it will lessen the depth. I think I would be collecting all the grass etc and fill that hole. We bought 7 acres of fully wooded land. Found a hole and have been dumping all the grass scrub brush wood etc... into it. Better than trying to fill it with dirt.

First of all. You have done a great job. 👍🏼 You can only do what you can do. I respect that. Secondly. If this is more than you realized. Re-examine what is needed. Your cost. (Time, fuel, equipment, etc.) Your heart ❤ Is in the right place. But you also have other obligations. Thirdly. If you think removing trees would endanger the security of the home. I would leave as is. The owner needs to give you guidelines. Well done sir. Respectfully.

For the first few minutes, I couldn't figure out WHY you weren't standing on the back of that large mower & using it as a riding mower? It looks like the kind of mower that you would be standing on. WOW!! That IS a lot of walking!! I have seen lots of mowers similar to the one you were using and they are set up to stand on & ride. Any reason why you didn't use a mower like that for those very LARGE properties? Especially if as you said in your video you will be coming back multiple times to finish your clean up!! Just LOOKING at how large that lawn was to mow I'm astounded that you didn't give up on it! Instead you just kept mowing & mowing & mowing!!! That's dedication!!!
@roseorosco1542 жыл бұрын
Did you discover the strong smell? I have a suggestion for lawn care, when you do a walk through for the first time especially on a lawn that big you should tie fluorescent plastic ribbon so you do not hit pipes or metal poles. You should contact the guy from IDIGIT4, he has a machine and can clear this place in 8 hours. He is in North Carolina. You did great 🙏🏼🌟🌹😊
