@@moondog6004 Nobody is watching TV now. TV brands are dying like flies. Notice how Wholefoods, Trader Joe's and Aldi don't sell any "TV brand" foods? Many Americans inherited the bad CHAIN FASTFOOD habits of their Boomer parents. Not enough Americans avoid seed oils, fructose and chemicals in food. They don't yet understand the CONCEPT of eating a genuine 19th century (pre-20th century) diet at all. Just for example, store shelf bread is not "healthy." Not even the "whole wheat" kinds. Many Americans are missing the basics. "Salad dressing" is not healthy either. More and more Americans get it every year. Now in 2024, 65% of Americans never drink soda-pop. Big improvement.

9:30 This is a major point I try explaining to people who blindly assume the doctor will keep them healthy. People believe that since the doctor has a nice college degree, they must be right. Appeal to authority fallacy.

Joseon was a dynastic kingdom of Korea that existed for 505 years, during which 27 kings ruled the kingdom. The kings lived a sedentary life with plenty of foods available to them, just like modern people. Their average lifespan was below 50, but one king lived until 83. The only thing he did differently was not eat red meat. He simply did not like the taste. He mostly consumed fruits and vegetables and some fish and occasionally some fowl.

In the 18th century you did not eat so much animal products because people could not afford it. In United States they ate corn, cornbread, vegetables and pork. In Asia, they eat rice and noodles, fish, vegetables and tofu. In Africa, they ate yams and cassava, goat, chickens, beef, and lamb. In Europe, bread and potatoes was their stable, combined with vegetables, meat olive oil, soup and dairy. Besides in the 18th century you examined people a lot different from now so a lot of people have been misdiagnosed. It’s look great on your video, but I don’t buy it sorry 😉 I do believe the carnivore diets health benefits though.

It's the vegetable oil, processed foods, and sedentary lifestyle that are killing people today. These didn't exist in the 18th century. While kings ate lots of meat and could have been healthier without the prevalent incest, peasants ate what they could afford and never refused meat. Voluntary veganism wasn't a thing back then either.

I'm not a fan of these % numbers, they don't paint a true picture. Doesn't express the population density numbers. Just like science data, to small of a sample size doesnt show true potential numbers to population base. More people or sample size more potential.

When should someone transition from Crnivore to Keto or a more commom diet when the Carnivore diet hasn't worked well? I've been eating meat and eggs for over 6 months and I haven't lost any body fat or improved my body composition in over 3 months. How long does it take to know if the Carnivore diet is working for you? I have no health problems and my goal is to lose body fat. Now I'm around 22% BF.

How clean is your carnivore? Are you only eating meat and eggs and butter? No dairy? No sauces and very few spices? Drink water, tea and coffee with no sweeteners? How many meals do you have? Do you eat meat with fat/butter until you are full and eat again when you feel hungry? Somewhere in your plan something is still spiking insulin and kicking you out of ketosis. Look closer. Good luck friend.

Yes. See videos of Dr. Philip Ovadia, a heart surgeon who is carnivore and recommending a meat only diet. His book is "Stay Off My Operating Table". Many other doctors at youtube also. Get a CAC test/score and repeat to see you are clearing your arteries while eating red meat. Older people with high cholesterol live longer than those with low cholesterol. Sugar/carbs destroy arteries. Meat heals.

What are your triglycerides? Triglycerides are the indicator of inflammation, aka how much plant matter, you’ve consumed in the body. The goal is sky high cholesterol, because cholesterol is the repair mechanism of the body, and very low triglycerides (well under 80 and preferably single digits).
