Exactly when the first people migrated into the Americas is the subject of much debate. One of the earliest identifiable cultures was the Clovis culture, with sites dating from some 13,000 years ago. However, older sites dating back to 20,000 years ago have been claimed. Some genetic studies estimate the colonization of the Americas dates from between 40,000 and 13,000 years ago.[19] The chronology of migration models is currently divided into two general approaches. The first is the short chronology theory with the first movement beyond Alaska into the Americas occurring no earlier than 14,000-17,000 years ago, followed by successive waves of immigrants.[20][21][22][23] The second belief is the long chronology theory, which proposes that the first group of people entered the hemisphere at a much earlier date, possibly 50,000-40,000 years ago or earlier.[24][25][26][27] Artifacts have been found in both North and South America which have been dated to 14,000 years ago,[28] and accordingly humans have been proposed to have reached Cape Horn at the southern tip of South America by this time. In that case, the Inuit would have arrived separately and at a much later date, probably no more than 2,000 years ago, moving across the ice from Siberia into Alaska....long before islam

Yes, but Europeans tend to ignore historical discoveries before a white european spoke of it and wipe out muslim contributions to their knowledge. Literally the European spanish burnt muslims books, renamed all muslim inventors and thinkers and scientist and explorers names, so you think they were spanish or european. So its to humble them with this info. Thats why they promote the idea and question what have muslims ever invented, they are backwards and Islam made them backwards etc. Never the less, Islam has more to offer then science, wisdom on how to live to have tranquility and contentment in the heart and soul and how to build a great society,

I can only imagine their ranks! Hopi religion increases my faith. May Allah(swt) reward them with the best of rewards.

I would recommend looking at Graham Hancock’s work, you probably won’t agree with all of his linguistic framing since he’s not Muslim, but, his archeological and anthropological investigative studying is really solid, as he helped to bring to public awareness places like Gobekli Tepe, and the true age of the Sphinx of Egypt (about 10,000 years old), and his work has helped prove the global flood that happened during the time of Noah. It’s entirely possible that people from the east discovered America way before the birth of either Jesus / Isa (PBUH) or Muhammad (PBUH). Keep in mind that Islam teaches that all of the prophets since the time of Ibrahim (PBUH) and later, were all Muslims too. There is a lot of archeological evidence of African people (genealogically, in terms of the facial features of statues found that are as old as 8,000 years or older), who settled South America, and even older than the Siberians who crossed the land bridge to North America, were probably people from the Levant (namely the ancestors of the Phoenicians) and India who reached North America, way before Columbus, way before Lief Erikson, even well before the Vikings. So it’s very likely that a direct descendant of Noah (PBUH) or Ibrahim (PBUH) made his way to the Americas well before the land was settled by the indigenous people who live there now. It’s also likely the Vikings learned about the Americas from Moorish Muslims in what is now modern day Turkey and Spain, as the Muslims would have known about it because they preserved the knowledge of the Phoenicians and the revelations of Muhammad (PBUH).
@lvl18gopnik16 күн бұрын
The vikings explored America by themselves, not with any muslim influence
@kathleencove16 күн бұрын
@@lvl18gopnik How can you be so sure? If Leif Erikson reached “Markland” (the Americas) around 1000 AD, and Ahmad ibn Fadlan ibn al-Abbas al-Baghdadi reached the Volga Vikings in 922 AD… and Abu Bakr II went to the Americas in the 1300s not long after that, having heard of lands to the west due to one of his predecessors… then how can you be so sure?
@kathleencove16 күн бұрын
@@lvl18gopnik There’s also an interesting possibility that “America’s Stonehenge” in Salem, New Hampshire is a site that proves Phoenicians may have reached both Ireland and the Americas as early as between the 6th and 9th centuries AD. “In the book ‘America BC: Ancient Settlers in the New World’ Barry Fell provides evidence of occupation in pre-Columbian times based on astronomically linked positioning of stones and claims of Phoenician inscriptions written in Ogham.” That’s a bit if a controversial take but I don’t think it can be entirely thrown out the window without further investigation, which few critics have bothered to properly test those theories without just simply dismissing them. Phoenicians of course were an ancient Semitic people, cousin to both the ancient Hebrews and Arabs. So it’s an interesting idea that ancient Semitic peoples could have passed down knowledge that there were lands out there somewhere to the west to be found, just waiting for later explorers in the 1000s AD to go find them again.
@kathleencove16 күн бұрын
@@lvl18gopnik Barry Fell’s theory is particularly interesting- it requires either that Irish Ogham is older than the early ADs, or, it requires that Phoenicians had a small settlement in Ireland in the early ADs lasting some hundreds of years after their homeland was annexed to Rome in 64 BC (becoming Syria). The latter is entirely possible considering there’s extensive evidence of Phoenician settlements all across ancient Western Europe, and the Phoenician alphabet seems to have influenced almost all Western European alphabets and languages that exist to today.
@kathleencove16 күн бұрын
@@lvl18gopnik “Since it is true that Canaanite Phoenicians migrated to Europe in large numbers in ancient times, there must be religious and cultural ties, and in fact, such connections abound. Dr. Thomas Moore's, History of Ireland(p. 40), relates: "That most common of all Celtic monuments, the Cromlech... is to be found not only in most parts of Europe, but also in Asia," including eastern Mediterranean. Not less ancient and general, among the Celtic nations, was the circle of upright stones, with either an altar or tall pillar in the centre, and, like its prototype at the temple of Byblos, Phoenicia, Gilgal [ancient Israel], serving sometimes as a temple of worship, sometimes as a place of national council or inauguration... The rough, unhewn stone...used in their circular temples by the Druids. Dr. Beauford, in Druidism Revived, says, "It is remarkable that all the ancient altars found in Ireland, and now distinguished by the name of Cromlechs or sloping stones, were originally called Bothal, or the House of God, and they seem to be of the same species as those mentioned in the Book of Genesis, called by the Canaanites, Bethel, or discovered in Byblos, Phoenicia, which has the same signification as the Irish Bothal." The Bible (Judges 9:6; 2Ki. 11:14; 2 Chon. 23:13) indicates that Phoenician kings were crowned either standing upon or next to a pillar of stone. "The practice of seating the new king upon a stone, at his initiation, was the practice in many of the countries of Europe.... The monarchs of Sweden sat upon a stone placed in the centre of twelve lesser ones, and in a similar kind of circle the Kings of Denmark were crowned." (Moore, ibid., p. 42) Note also the significant Bible number, 'twelve', which was common to both European Celts and the Phoenicians. The book, Identity of the Religions Druidical and Phoenician, adds, "Circular temples...abound in England and other parts of Europe. The most ancient account of them is to be found in the book of Exodus (24:4), "And Moses... builde an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes.." (p.15) In Europe, Stonehenge, Avebury, and many other early Celtic sites were designed in a circular pattern. There is no record that preserves the order in which the pillars or stelae of the temple of Byblos were organized. Groves were also features of both Phoenician and Celtic worship. Significant importance was paid by the Celts to the mistletoe and Phoenician Libanesis was/is abundunt in it like no other place in the Near East.” From Phoenicia . org Again, the ancient Phoenicians would have had considerable influence on all later Semitic cultures, it’s entirely possible Arabs and Moors and Turks were all influenced by ancient Semitic tales of lands to the west. And the Vikings could have gotten their influence from the Irish, or Ibn Fadlan, or both.

6 ways to earn deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in it's shade or eat from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message with people.
