Alcohol took so much from me especially damaging my health from numerous pancreatitis attacks accompanied with lovely seizures. I would be so much further ahead if I never took that first drink, but I’m sober today trying not to put any focus on my past right now since I’m still in early recovery. I have a lot to learn about myself and my addiction. Learning to love myself will be a challenge for me, but I’m excited to discover new things about myself through this journey.

I can relate to that had to fight with depression and lastly 7 years of alcohol abuse and addiction - nearly killed me and left me with neuropathic pains and paraesthesia. Learning to accept me and wel loving myself is still a struggle but now a year sober we are closer than ever - hopefully. Good luck to all of us.
