He knows the full potential of pika moreso than he knows the full potential of like, dark pit. So he will overrate pika in comparison to other characters which he doesn't know as well. Same with MKLeo and Byleth. Leo knows everything Byleth can do, but has a less good idea of what something like Pac-man, for example, can do.

But, he CAN recognize, as a fellow player, when someone has sponsorship-level talent, and Sparg0 most certainly has that in spades. Hence his confusion.

What character were all of the top three players playing? Aegis. pyra/mythra is the best character in the game. so many top players have picked up this character for a reason. This has never happened where every top player who picks this character proceeds to get top 2 shortly after at a major. Leo, Sparg0, cosmos and shuton have now done it. all are incredible players who blow my mind, but all im saying is doesnt that tell us something about this character? JOKER NEVER DID ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT WE ARE SEEING WITH AEGIS. leo won with him because he can destroy with anyone. He's that good (also joker is crazy good too). Joker has been out for Almost 3 years, and Aegis hasn't even been out for one and is represented way more. They're only going to get better. This is all my opinion of course, and we all value different things in what makes a character good, but that's my take! Also... "They cant recover though! bottom 10 recovery!" If you're always in advantage state with mythra then you won't have to.
