@Dang0Fam2 жыл бұрын
I feel like there's no need to have lesser expectations of him just because he's younger. Regardless of whether he's a teenager or 30 nerves are something that will get in the way of success in a tournament. As a competitor I'm sure he's looking for anything that will give him the edge and learning how to stay calm is huge; He's a skilled player and it's great that he has a lot of time left to improve but no one in a tournament will give him any slack due to his age. I hope for his sake he doesn't brush off valid criticisms using his age as a shield. Teenagers can be more capable than people think so that's why I felt the need to write this reply.

I’ll be honest, I still fail to see how age means anything. Unless of course it’s a joke people use by saying “”prodigy””. If it has to do with the time younger people have on their hands to improve, such as myself, I mean, like……. Many adults have just as much, if not more lol. It depends on how much homework and whatnot they have to do.
@bogregz2 жыл бұрын
With age comes experience. That's just a fact. That's how life works. And obviously, practice makes perfect. Because Smash players are usually young, the balance of experience vs sheer reflexes will always tip in the favor of experience a little bit. Am I wrong?
@asuuki20482 жыл бұрын
@@bogregz Yes, yes you are wrong. There is no evidence to suggest that some random guy is going to overthrow anybody older than them simply for being younger lmfao. Also, no, practice doesn’t make perfect. PERFECT practice makes perfect. There are tons of crazy adult players, and yet nobody mentions anything about them because… they’re… adults…….? Like, why? Somebody being young doesn’t make them anymore credible lmao. Somebody might have a TALENT for any given game, but that’s the extent of it. Their age is meaningless. Also don’t twist it and say I’m implying that a two year old can be a great Smash player. You know exactly what I mean. Some people are just better at games than others. That is just a fact. Starting young would be no different. Why? Because that doesn’t mean you get to time travel to the future and be good in absolutely no time. You grow at the exact same level as everybody else. Starting before somebody else does, and putting in the effort, is OBJECTIVELY the only advantage one can have.
