Berge was shite in the premier league for us and was carried by Doyle and McAtee in midfield last season. Because we're probably the worst team in premier league history this season it's made people forget how poor certain players were the last time we were relegated. Sander turned up when he felt like it which was nowhere near enough to justify the silly price tag and hype that came with his signing that it was a major coup and we were lucky to get him. Ndiaye was our best player last season but there's no guarantee he'd have done anything this season. He's been a failure in france. I remember when Sheffield Wednesday Won the Cup in 1991 against Man United Then in 1992 they came 3rd from top & Qualified for Europe then in 1993 they got to Both Major finals in same season against arsenal SWFC are still Yorkshires most successful football club & they have been mismanaged With no PL for almost 24 years they are still Sheffield biggest football club

While most fans want to win promotion into the PL, not many fans enjoy the experience when they get there. The cheating by players, the bias decisions by officials on the pitch and by VAR, the constant rule changes to favour the big 6 when they already have so many advantages makes relegation much more palatable. The Championship is the best league in the world for real fans. The PL is just there for the money.

Pleased to see the comments on here reflect that the views expressed by O'Hara and not challenged by Agbonlahor are both totally out of touch with genuine football fans. Yes we sold our best two plauers last summer, both were out of contract this summer and refused to sign new deals despite the club trying for months to extend their deals so the club took the view that we would cash in now for atound £34m for both rather thsn let them leave for nothing this summer. We'd almost still go down with Ndiaye and Berge and we can't afford to wave good bye to £34m. Hamer came in and has been great as Berge replacement. The big issue Jamie sgouid be focusing on is the ever increasing gulf of class between the PL and the Championship and the lack of wealth distribution.

Wes, Anel, Egan, Robinson, McAtee, Doyle and McBurnie were literally all more consistent than Berge last season. What is this endless hype with him. Only reason he was able to run the show against us the other week was because our midfield parted and just continously allowed him to run through the middle of the pitch with the ball for 20 yards unchallenged all game for some reason even though whenever he played for us the first strong tackle someone put in on him he went awol for the rest of the game.

Gabby was actually spot on here. Keep it short and sweet lol. This is where ya get your assist and goals. These games. Not just Sheffield but Burnley, etc as well. Sure we drew with Luton but we still got 4. We hammered Burnley last time. Scored 9 agasint then in pre season. So I disagree with Burnley having much of a go. And I think they’ve stuck with the boss stupidly for silly reasons and I think they’ll change in the summer. Luton are a bit more physically demanding that’s why they sometimes tough but again way too easy to score against and smash. All three for me were going down before a hall got kicked I knew it. Against Burnley away, sure we might not be awake for one half. Cos it’s end of season and in a way the players are a bit of what Jamie c said waiting for end of season. Lots players are look at Liverpool. But with the crowd and our technical ability we always score goals and the players know that. So I can only see us winning against Burnley cos they have a woeful defence. There again, one thing is clear picked up on every game by the bbc radio team, we are cut open too easy in the middle. Bruno mops up but that’s cos him and Sean and Anderson (Miley too sorry but it’s true) are not doing what they are meant to do. Anderson and Sean were far too easy to beat. Bruno needs to get better control of the game instead of just waiting to be the deep play maker. If we can sort this out, keep Wilson benched for now to have that option, get Schar back and maybe pope, I think we can win our remaining games!

Jamie O'Hara want a bel***d!, please tell us O'Hara from your extensive experience of success from a career where you achieved your glory with Billericay Town as a player/manager in the Isthmian League, wow, elite level football, tell us what an amazing job you would have done, were all ears. Some advice don't ever come near Sheffield because as fans we take criticism, we are used to it, but to come out with quotes like 'ban them', what a lazy insult that is and Blades fans never forget. As for Gabby Agbonlahor who has not one won one thing in football, as a striker his career was 401 games and scored 87 goals, which works out as one goal per 4.6 games, as a striker!. He never took a penalty as a striker he never got booked or red carded as a striker, so again from his extensive success to sit there and talk down on Sheff Utd like that, when you clearly had no fight or passion as you obviously bottled the responsibility of what a striker is meant to mean to the team, honestly what a pair to hand out criticism and insults and laugh about it!.
