Here is an idea. Pay Pat to come in on an evening or Saturday for a few hours. Give him rags, couple of cases of grease and oil, grease gun, and a blower. Let him check over all the equipment and keep it floating in grease. It'll pay dividends in the long run. One look at that paving company's equipment and you know they are top tier.

Big Ray was told about 3 times before the end of the last video, and he ignored the boss like it doesn't matter what he is told to do doesn't apply to him. He has been told several times to judge the amount of concrete needed at the end, and he says fill up the buggy because lumpuses don't matter. Rayn will just take care of it in the morning. He always takes them off in the mornings and then throws them away. Should be penalties for big Ray. Big Lumpus $100., no gas $100., loose equipment $100., truck not emptied every day at the end of work $100.ect.. he will catch on quickly when it affects his pocket.

Don’t take it for granted it’s always the drivers fault a load is wet. Unless he admits to making a mistake, or you actually see him adding water. A good way to catch a lier is to look at the water gauge on his water tank, if more than 15-20 gallons is down, he’s added water. The batch plants, can and do make mistakes, usually telling the driver to spin it on the way to the job, thus heating the concrete, and burning the excess water, SOMETIMES, but it doesn’t always work, then you end up with a wet hot load that scales. At that point if you use it to get the job completed faster, it’s on you, send it back. An instant read laser thermometer will tell you if the load is hot.
