I have a ps4 and I have to keep replacing the thermal paste every 2 weeks the thermal paste keeps evaporating I've tried multiple different thermal pastes a new heatsink and still the same thing happens

Overvolting maybe from a faulty power supply. Capacitors probably haven't blown yet if you haven't seen any smoke come out of the PS4 and it still runs. Try swapping out the power supply to a known good one and see if it helps anything

As a ex smoker i really can say that this kind of damage is a total loss in my opinion. Even if its working and is "cleaned" you never get the smell away completely. And i would never buy smokers stuff.

I’d defo replace the PSU or at least service it . That thing looks to have been outside a while . The PSU could work for a week or two before shooting flames out 😂.

I got one a few years ago that had been left outside for a year and I paid $25 usd shipped for it cleaned it up, changed the thermal paste and put it back together and used it for 2 years then sold it, never had any issues out of it

Haven't seen any flames shoot out on a machine yet but I've had loud pops and clouds of smoke come out of PSUs on both PCs and consoles. If it's plugged solid with about an inch of dust as well that's definitely a fire hazard and the dust could light up by chance from a blown cap because a lot of household dust is made out of poly or cotton fibers and general lint that could burn if unlucky
