Oh man I loved them back in the day, and I still do! ❤️🇨🇦

A-ha is a fantastic band consisting of three very creative and skilled musicians. It's a shame America never got to know the band apart from "Take on me". The song is undoubtedly a classic and this version takes it to another level. In Europe, they continued to produce hits on a continuous basis in the 80s and early 90s. The Norwegian band released their 11th studio album in autumn 2022, and are one of the world's biggest live bands. They have/have held two records in the Guinness Book of Records; highest paying audience with 198,000 at Rock in Rio in 1991 (a record that stood for 26 years) and Morten's record for longest note in a UK Top 40 song at 20.2 seconds in "Summer moved on". I recommend that you check out more of the band's music. They have developed over the decades, and have tried out different genres, but have always preserved the familiar a-ha sound. They are the only artist from a non-English-speaking country to have provided the soundtrack to a Bond film with "The living daylights". I recommend you check out the aforementioned "Summer moved on" (preferably live Oslo Spektrum 2010), the sequel to "Take on me", "The sun always shines on TV", "Stay on these roads", "Manhattan Skyline", "Scoundrel Days" , "Analogue". "True North" and "I'm in" are from their latest album. Great stuff.

Love this one, and fun fact since they didn't have autotune he has sung this song hitting the high notes at least 200 times a year since the 80's!

One of the great tunes that helped defined the 80's. Norwegian band Aha, lead by lead singer Morten Harket, delivered a driving beat and a great killer synth riff on the original. This stripped down version only greater highlights his wonderful voice. Beautiful version. Great reaction Harri and great memory Clint. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada. ❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦

Harri spoke of hearing the lyrics more easily in the unplugged sessions and I was thinking the same thing as the song progressed. This is gold -- so, so good!! I was seeing the video and hearing the original 80's video in my head as I was listening, and I wasn't missing it! This slowed-down version brings this song to a new light. Thank you, Clint and Harri for this excellent selection, arrangement and reaction!

A-HA have produced and continue to produce the soundtrack to my life. I’ve been a fan of this band since take on me in 1985 so it’s been 40 years of following the greatest band ever. Morten can still hit those high notes even at 63 years old which is what age he is now. I love this version of the song it makes it feel like an entirely different song. Another song i recommend you check out by A-HA is Summer Moved On especially a live version the video doesn’t do it justice. You can watch it live from the Oslo spektrum , Norway in 2010 on their ending on a high note tour they got two guinness world records for this song the first being the longest note held during a live performance and the second being the largest audience ever at a concert in Brazil. It’s a beautiful song too. You’ll be blown away by it if you react to it. A-HA are an amazing band because they’re not afraid to mix it up and try new things plus their music is always evolving. Thanks for the reaction. Take care 😘🏴 ❤️🇳🇴❤️A-HA FOREVER❤️🇳🇴❤️

This is the version that taught me the actual words. I definitely didn’t know it was “in a day or two.” Love this version so much. I agree. Release it and make some money if they can.

@@clint6872 OMG Clint I'm in love with this. It's gorgeous. Sent it to my brother who is a teacher at a performing arts high school in Chicago and plays around with his keyboard often. He appreciates the quiet beauty of breaking down a song and reworking it. I hope you have been well my friend!
