The thing that I liked (and many others I am sure) is that battlepass only gives you cosmetics. New maps, new missions, new weapons - all of this is FREE.

There is no shame in liking a game with flaws.. This game the same fun I used to get when playing Unreal Tournament or Quake Arena

Thou.. that 60$ pricetag is steep when for same price darksouls, eldenring and more releases with a lot more gameplay. Even so i much rather pa 60$ for a qualit game that does not exploit the cuatomer... that battle pass thou throws a bit of a wrench in that statement sadly.

curious what difficulty you played on? I played on angel of death with a couple friends and spamming parry or roll CERTAINLY doesn't seem to work there or in operations mode.

to finish campaign : normal (with a friend) I did some solo Angel difficulty, which is where my hate for AI comes from.. jesus it's unplayable.

I was really looking forward to this game but I'm gonna wait until they flesh this out more, it looks extremely repetitive. It also feels like some of the weapons and combat just doesn't have the same oomph that was present in the original. Beautiful though.

yeah... there's lack of variety indeed. thing is : it does very few things badly....while the biggest problem really is the lack of "content", where as everything else is good or better!

So they did the same as the first space marines game. Decent game, okay singleplayer, even though a tad bit short and really simple experience. And well, multiplayer that is badly balanced so you've got to live with it. A great game for sales and mindless evenings with friends.

microtransactions are (big part) why games (a lot of them anyway) suck ass hard today! I will rather buy a game for 80$ if it means all the cosmetics are unlocked or better : unlocked thru gameplay & challanges adding actual value to exploring and more! I rather have cool game for EVERYONE, than have a lesser game, that relies on EXPLOITING a fraction of the fanbase. are you seriously suggest that we should accept that games WE LOVE should predate on a few players to financially succeed!?!??!?!

@@TheYamiks don’t get me wrong, I hate the micro transactions business model, it’s ruined some of my favourite video game franchises. But I won’t complain about SM2 for adding additional paid content (a few cosmetics) that doesn’t effect gameplay or the overall experience and also doesn’t separate the games player base through paid maps and modes. Most of the games cosmetics are unlocked via gameplay and the in-game currency that is earned through the game by completing missions and pvp matches. We will never see the end of micro transactions as it generates too much money for the industry but at least SM2 isn’t insanely greedy in a greedy modern game industry.

I just wanted the better SM1 but the SM2 campaign was honestly a disappointment. It really is balanced around the multiplayer with mission objectives being straight up copied from the darktide or similar games. Bosses are just bullet sponges who are defeated by spamming the dodge button for 10 minutes. And you cannot stop dodging because AI focues player all the time. And when the game in the middle of the campaign asks you to do the multiplayer mission it completely breaks the immersion. I didn't even recognize I'm playing online with random people at first. At least it looks gorgeous, i guess.

I noted something. German "professional" gaming magazines seem to hop on the wagon sometimes. For example: Diablo 4 was PRAISED extremly well by my common magazine, while the game sucked ass for most players. But why did they praise it? Well they sold a extra walkthrough & tips and tricks special book to that game and made several clips over that. The same happens now with Star Wars Outlaws - a game, that most players despise because it's a shitty cover shooter with sometimes forced stealth and mediocre gameplay overall while the characters are bland, ugly and ofc there's a cUtE sidekick pet. Oh, and you can KO a Stormtrooper with hitting him with the bare fist on his helmet - ok. When Assassins Creed Shadows releases, they'll praise this too. It's too easy to make simple content for these games nowadys and everything that is pure TESTOSTERON is bad because ... you know why. I guess the steam reviews show the real opinion of the players. And when Stellar Blade will come to Steam, they'll see that pure estrogen and testosteron will sell MILES better than political charged games. Oh man, the sad day when Dragon Age: The not Dreadwolf will arrive. What a mess of a game. I'm so.... sooo sad.

I am not a fan of Warhammer 40k universe, so I am not really attracted to this game. But I'm happy to see that fans have something to delight them with this new game and the fact that love and attention to it's creation has been but by the developers!
