Police officers who are watching this and feeling all butt-hurt because you have such a hard job and nobody understands and nobody appreciates you, why don't you stand up to your crooked brothers who are giving you all a bad name? If you don't want to be painted with the same brush, then make things right. Stop covering for your crooked brothers. Actually do your fucking job and put criminals away, even if those criminals are your brothers in blue. If you do keep going the way you're going and refuse to change, don't be surprised when the cop-hate in the world keeps escalating.

@baronobeefdip29 жыл бұрын
xlioilx Well then, I wonder what happened to supervising a rookie. Also traffic patrol isn't the most envied job on the police department, in fact many find it extremely degrading because most of the time nothing happens during a shift so he might have been pissed off and thought a black woman would be easier to get away with. I still think she should've just complied and went to jail then asked for a lawyer. and if she was killed by the cops anyway the media would be riding this like an over-priced prostitute by showing that she never had any history of committing suicide and that her relaxed state on the video doesn't show any suicidal tendancies or signs that she might commit suicide. Don't give the cops reason to be ass holes especially saying you have rights which you do but it doesn't matter once they have you in their grips. I'm not blaming the victim, I'm just saying that she might have made the situation gone better but nonetheless the cop is at fault. I'm also a little disappointed that this black lives matter movement isn't taken more seriously, probably because they go about things inaccurately.

She put in jail 3 days bond of 5000, 10% 500 to get out. 5. One of the days she was in jail from the trauma of having her head slammed into the ground and epilepsy at the jail she had a seizure 6. Police found her dead tried to cover up her death by staging a suicide so they weren't held liable 7. They didn't properly book her so they took a picture of her dead body as a booking picture 8. There were no struggle marks. It's human nature to try to save yourself if you're in danger (why it's physically impossible to drown yourself) 9. No struggle marks were found on sandra bland, meaning if she was hung she was hung after death.

She goes to jail probably still running her mouth off, because she's pissed she's in jail for bullshit. A couple cops had enough so they murdered her and staged a suicide. This is why as a black person you understand some battles aren't worth fighting keep calm shut the fuck up take the ticket go the fuck home cops will kill you for looking at them funny. And my life isn't worth a fucking cigarette or a bullshit political point. There are better ways to fight than matyrdom

***** And that's the truth, plain and simple. We may have rights, but as a citizen, and a person of color, we are looked upon differently and can end up dead with out a blink from the judicial system. I keep my cool and if I am wrongly treated, I'll file a complaint and keep it moving. Just give me my ticket. Now, if I'm doing all these things and you open my door and tell me to get out the car, that scenario is fuzzy, because I don't know what I would do and because it has happened to people, I get why we are afraid to allow cops to just haul us away. I just say, do the best you can to stay away from being pulled over, and if you are, put on that Bryant Gumble voice and take the ticket. I have been followed, and harassed by police. Especially, when one Black cop, gave me 5 tickets totaling close to $2000. I just gave him a glare and went about my day and fought it in court.

***** well said it's about time black people rise up! As one unite this is not the last murder!

So let me get this crystal fucking clear... She was pulled over for not having a turn signal on, got yanked out of her car and thrown to the ground and threatened with tazing because she didn't put out her cigarette in her own car, then she's mysteriously found to have committed suicide by hanging herself using a garbage bag (Which 1. Shouldn't have been in her cell in the first place, and 2. Can NOT fucking support the weight of a grown adult), and now suddenly "Oh, she smoked or ate a ton of weed while in custody, which shows she was a bad person and also was what led to her being suicidal"?! And those cops expect us to BELIEVE that bullshit?! Seriously?! Honestly, most likely scenario, considering the dashcam footage of her arrest, is this: She was booked into prison, then when the cops told her how much trouble she was in, she continued to sass right back at them knowing that she had a pretty much open and shut lawsuit against them because 1. She did nothing wrong and 2. Unlike so many other victims, she wasn't poor as fuck and so could get a good lawyer. And then the cops didn't like her defiant "No, it's you guys who are gonna lose your jobs, see you in court" attitude and it escalated until they killed her and tried to cover it up. First with the suicide, and then when that didn't immediately shut people up suddenly we get the usual "Ermagerd, she was super abusing pot, clearly a thug!" character assassination. Except that if it were true, then the cops would have to be phenomenally incompetent enough to not find this "large amount" of pot on her when they booked and searched her, and THEN didn't notice her eating or smoking it (and there's no way she could have smoked it if she DID have pot on her AND a lighter, since someone would have noticed the smell.). And apparently, eating pot straight up doesn't do anything unless it's prepared in some way first. Oh, and there's no camera footage of her cell, until they come in to pick up the body, for some mysterious reason? ...Hmm.......Gee, isn't THAT convenient. So yeah. Barring some insanely hardcore surprise evidence twist out of pheonix wright, this is pretty clearly a murder. ...And here's the thing, I bet these cops thought they could get away with not even a peep. But here's the thing. Trayvon Martin? There was no conclusive evidence or witnesses, so he "plausibly could have attacked the man armed with a gun with his bare fists first" even though it was unlikely and irrational for that to be the case. The guy from Ferguson? Well, there was footage of him stealing something (even though the cops didn't know of it at the time they went after him), and there was a lot of confusion about the shooting so "It's plausible he was a regular thief who tried to bullrush the cops AFTER being shot, even though it was unlikely and irrational for that to be the case. Even the Eric Garner from new York, put in a choke hold and killed could be "plausibly a tragic accident of overzealous officers trying to get this big scary man under control and accidentally going too far". Hell, even that 12 year old with the Toy gun could have been "plausibly a real gun so the officers can never take any chances!" But here? Too much is WAY out of place and suspicious as hell. AND on top of that, her family is well off enough that they can likely get some good lawyers who can pry into this matter very intently. Anyone trying to paint this as anything other than what it is are going to have to REALLY bend over backwards and twist their brain into a pretzel for an explanation that makes more sense than the cops being responsible for her death. I hope this is the case that fucking drives a NAIL into the vampiric predatory husk of the US police culture, specifically in the south and SPECIFICALLY in fucking Texas. Because this is so utterly blatant that it HAS to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Oxygen doesn't go through plastic bags and you suffocate. It's the reason you're not supposed to leave young kids with plastic bags! So why would she hang herself with a bag that would likely not support her weight when she could just put it over her head and prevent air from coming through? The whole thing stinks like a mammoth corpse covered in diarrhea.

Maybe we need to start expecting a little more from our cops than a high school diploma and the ability to drive as qualifications to be a police officer. How about a degree in social work before they are even allowed to enter the academy. Becoming a cop shouldn't be the way to avoid being homeless just because you goofed off at school and didn't learn anything while being a jock and now have no other employment opportunities. You should have to actually work hard to become a cop and prove that you are just as capable intellectually as you are physically capable of doing the work. Maybe then we'd see less of this bullshit.

mechapro93 ticket (and maybe arrest) quotas do exist for the sake of a quantitative performance measure in some places, although they're rightfully and increasingly seen as very poor policing. Quotas lead to top-down pressure on cops to lose common sense and pull people over for the lightest possible infractions. But with that said, who knows if the cop was dealing with any of that or not.

Eliza Miller I never said it was illegal. Quote me or otherwise drop that argument. She caught an attitude at the beginning because she doesn't like white cops in general for reasons she stated herself. However when a cop tells you to get out of the vehicle he has that authority. Piss someone off especially when they haven't done anything yet you can expect them to find a reason to ruin your day. By your comment you sound more childish than an adult. Btw I'm not defending the cop. I'm stating simple facts. Don't provoke anyone in general. Doesn't matter if you have the legally or moral right to do it. People will still try to get you back regardless. Sometimes they can even snap and get violent. People have died like this and I'm not talking about police encounters. Just random people.

You get a real sense of what is taking place looking at the arrest of Sandra Bland that she had been targeted and used this situation to instigate a physical and emotionally terrified woman to hurt and abuse this woman and this eventually lead to her murder.

The mindset of 25% of my colleagues disgusted me and I often witnessed unnecessary physical or verbal abuse perpetrated by them on members of the public, who legitimately challenged the actions of the policeman who attacked them, ( despite being paid to work to protect them) This is why I resigned from what the Home Office laughingly call, "The Police SERVICE" Rest assured, It is NOT a 'Police SERVICE', it is a club for egotistical, self centered, pension seeking, wank**ws who follow to the letter, the dictates of the Home Office propaganda of misinformation.

Sorry for your loss. You're absolutely right about people hiding their inner turmoil... my grandmother also committed suicide after finding out my great aunt (her sister) had cancer. It was more directed towards being alone... for a long time I felt guilty as I had told her 2 days prior I would wouldn't be coming up that weekend to visit. Given I was her favourite, I had wondered if I had made it clear I was coming up if it would have made a difference. Of course the answer is no. Those truly ready to end it are not likely to change their minds. Those struggling and searching for an out, those are the ones we can help. So alway try and be aware... when things are out if the normal step up... When it comes to this woman... I look forward to more information. I do find it hard to believe that a woman who was finally getting everything she wanted would think that was a good choice. Friday to Monday (first real chance to find out if you're getting out) doesn't seem logical. No should we find out she had a history of depression; logic be damned.

kiybro can you link me to an article about that? I hadn't seen one yet. I'd be curious to know more about it (getting my M.Psy). It's tragic either way. And either way the police department is at fault. It's just a matter of negligence or manslaughter or murder. Truthfully, I'm not sure which one I prefer. All are tragic... but could murder make people open their eyes about the police state... Maybe... probably not... It's all terrible regardless.

It's time to clean house in our police departments. Get rid of all the bullies & psychopaths. When recruiting, give psychological profiling tests to wean out bullies, racists, misogynists, & psychopaths. Be very careful when interviewing ex-military for positions because they are trained to shoot first & sort out the bodies afterwards, whereas police officers are supposed to de-escalate the situation. Of course, there would be a lot of ex-cops out of work, but they could always look for work as day laborers since that line of work is more suitable to their temperament.

I can't understand how anyone would just go along and support the officer knowing good and damn well he LIED and used EXCESSIVE FORCE when she was not attacking him all over an extremely minor traffic offense. Sure she was upset about getting the warning ticket and even more perturbed at the officer's uncalled for and unnecessary comments. He should've just gave the warning after she accepted and left, but oh no he had to mention her attitude because that's a threat and he "feared for his life". Man GTFOOH with that bs. And the whole weed smear campaign against her is beyond ridiculous! If she smoked weed in jail, then how did she find the time from getting pulled over to sneak it in when she was being attacked and threatened by the officer? It's a war out here for black folks and everyone else is just being willfully ignorant about it because they refuse to acknowledge what's been going on.

I will explain exactly what happened. Based on the facts that we know for sure, it is very plain to me because I have seen it 1000 times. I am making assumptions, but I have seen it so many times, I would stake a lot on my speculation. After the trauma of her initial arrest, eventually she calmed down and gave up trying to resist her false arrest. We see this a lot in the jail video's they allow us to see. Certainly she was trying to not make her current situation worse. But, then after being in jail for so long on the ridiculous charge of resisting or assault whichever it was, you have a chance to be more emotionally abused by the guards, being treated like an animal, and apparently in jail you have very few rights that are respected by guards. Your feelings of helplessness grow and in almost every situation I have seen, and I have studied this for a while, your feelings of helplessness turn to rage, not depression. Imagine being in jail that long knowing your only crime was failure to signal a lane change! I wasn't there but I can see it happening so clearly. She will start screaming from her cell at the guards and she will be ignored for a long time. Then when the officers get sick of it, they will form a huddle of approximately 8 of the biggest officers outside of her cell. They never say anything, they all know what to do. Whether you are male or female, whether you are physically resisting or not, they open your cell and charge you. The officer with the biggest forearms usually applies the choke hold. The inmate is slammed to the floor. There is at least one officer on each limb. The inmate is then hogtied. The inmate no matter how sturdy, almost never comes out without some hospitalization. In this case the big officer, applied the choke hold too long. Killed her. And they all immediately move to cover up their crime. They all know what to do, and what to say when questioned, because they have all done this before. I wonder if there is any police officer who would challenge my scenario as anything but common practice. And to the one Young Turks journalist who accused the officer of lying. Well, If you are not aware, ALL POLICE OFFICERS LIE IN EVERY CASE. I am truly not trying to condescend, because you're not supposed to be aware of that. Maybe that's not 100% universal, but I have never seen a case where the officers told the whole truth and nothing but. This white man believes ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER.

This is Me He instigated a petty issue and escalated it. Yes, she was perhaps too assertive but he had no right to demand she exit her vehicle (much less arrest her). This is a growing issue in America and it must end. The cop culture is eroding and it is not up to debate that they in fact do treat people differently based on class and race, they are incentivized to maximize the amount of arrests, and they are growing power hungry. Maybe she did kill herself, that was my initial reaction and i still believe it....But unfortunately i refuse to take the cop's word for it because they are cops (at this point, that is reason enough). So regardless, they should investigate this to no end. People have a right to be pissed, especially her family given the shady details and sketchy facts.

I was just thinking the same as you, watching the dashcam video from the stage one abuse of Sandy Blank. The arresting officer, Brian Encinia, is building this scene up as a moviedirector by bullying her. I listen to the conversation and it´s obvious that Sandy Bland is very nice and cooperative when he starts his accusationline. Probably a bit scared and feeling unsertain. And just the fact that she´s the person she is, a strong educated woman and black, turns him on from the start. So he leaves her in her car for, I don´t know, five minutes or so, probably anticipating that common sense-irritation will be building up inside her. As it would be doing for me as well. Sitting there thinking about why he´s treating me like a criminal, about beeing a black (or in my case white) woman, my whole life neverending struggle for justice for black people, ligthning up a cigarett to calm myself down. And not beeing prepared for what will come at all. Just thinking I will get the paperworks and be off to work. But that will not happen to Sandy Blank. After he returnes Encinia switches the steam up so he will have an excuse to pull her out and abuse her. This is probably all happening subconsciously in his rasistwomenabusing mind. Or is he that smart of a cop that he knows exactly what stages a person goes through in contact with a police? Maybe it´s something you learn in Academy, by your colleagues at the force. How to build up a situation so you can bully a person into an excuse to abuse and arrest. I feel so sad and sick about this. Please America stop killing of your own habitants. ps, excuse me misspelling anything no and then.

Let's make this stop, all of us, American or not, black lives matter, black activists know what they're doing.
